Felt like staying in an authentic Italian house. Quiet and peaceful with amazing views. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was lately renovated. The selection at breakfast was small, but everything tasted great. I would stay here again.

It was clearly one of the best accommodations we ever staid in. The rooms were great. The locations was perfect. The garden was awesome to have breakfast AND dinner (very very recommended). And then there is Franco, who makes everything even more perfect - one of the best hosts we ever had!! He was always happy to see us, made sure we got everything we need (breakfast, umbrella, beach towels, AND even a Kayak!!) and he made our stay an unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back, the perfect getaway for a romantic, private and relaxing vacation. It felt like we stayed at a friends place - thank you Franco!!!

The property is spacious with a large enough bathroom and patio / garden / yard. There is a fully equipped kitchen, which makes the place suitable for longer stays. The host is super responsive and friendly. The self check-in process is very straightforward. A parking spot is available either right in front of the building or inside the small yard, but mind that the doors do not open wide enough and this would be a struggle. There is a grocery shop a few minutes away on foot and a bigger supermarket a few minutes away with a car. Tertenia is a good starting point to explore the eastern part of the island as there are two sea ports in relatively close proximity.

By the standards of Sardinia, since most of the nearby beaches are open to the sea, they are relatively less crowded, so you have quite a lot of privacy on the beaches by the standards of Sardinia. But then again, because the beaches are open, there are quite big waves here. Which suits me and I like big waves, but it might not suit some.

Tertenia town - quiet town with few shopping options

Tertenia town - quiet town with few shopping options Marina de Tertenia - place of our stay, calm nice place (one minimarket, one restaurant-bar open also through siesta, 2 restaurants on the main beach Foxi Mana), suitable for us, but could not be for the people expected nigh-life, many restaurants, coffee bars, shops aroung.

It looks like very remote less known place.

It looks like very remote less known place. So it is quiet and not far from few other nice places for those who don’t like to move every night. Beach had few already closed bars. Slow walk into water. Biggest beach has sand others stones or rocks. There are also walking trails around cost. So plenty of activities can be done.

There is not much to see and not much to do, very little...

There is not much to see and not much to do, very little offer of restaurants, bars, if you look for busy social live, Tertenia would be very bad place :) If you want to sleep, read a book and avoid crowdy places, go for Tertenia :)

We were actually in Marina di Tertenia, near the sea.

We were actually in Marina di Tertenia, near the sea. It was peaceful at the beginning of June, during the town's folk festival. But the whole region is worth visiting, and we had a great guide: our friends who live in Marina di Tertenia.

I can recommend the Foxi Manna beach, which was minimally...

I can recommend the Foxi Manna beach, which was minimally busy in September, but the bars were still open. The trip to Grotta su Marmuri is an experience in itself, the caves are really big and majestic. Compared to Grotte is Zuddas, I found the stalactite decoration a bit poorer, but it is still worth a visit.
