The couple who run this adorable apartment are two of the loveliest people that I have met. The love of their village, history and the joy that they can deliver through this apartment is everywhere from the doormat, to Jim Morrison, the washing machine- absolutely every detail is beautifully presented. Fabrazio was a welcoming host and Palazzo Fortebracci was very close to the main piazza, easy to walk to all the attractions of Sutri. Interiors were warm,spacious, comfortable, light and decorated with gorgeous furniture. we had the room which looked onto the main street. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, yogurt and all the traditional pastries and breads of a typical italian breakfast. We stayed one night and Sutri is a beautiful small medieval town with small streets to explore and an excellent museum

We stayed in Elena’s suite and the moment we walked in we decided to stay another night. The host is a wonderfull lady and she really cares about her guest. She’s still learning english but she’s doing a fantastic job to explain how everything works, she even texted us some locations we could visit. If you’re in Sutri you have to stay in this suite!

This hotel is a gem on the country side, clearly adapted to host magnificent weddings but also highly suitable for us who were just passing through. It offers excellent rooms (with the biggest bath tub I've seen), is calm and quiet and had both delicious breakfasts and a highly impressive dinner restaurant.

The property is a convent in a modern building set on the hillside. The room was basic but more than adequate.The Sisters will collect you by car from Sutri if you wish. The food is a set menu, simple and nourishing - the highlight was ice cream home made by the nuns!
