The hotel had just been finished to a high standard. The rooms were impeccable, and the bathroom / shower room was big enough for an adult and 2 teenagers. Sky sports in the room meant that we could take a few hours to ourselves, watch the football, and take a break from walking around the beautiful city. The owners helped us locate all the amazing sights and really couldn't do enough for us All in all, it's a fantastic stay and was a welcomed break from walking around the amazing city.

Location is very central and hence super convenient to walk to common attractions !! There is also a taxi stand near the piazza Ferrari fountain and many bus stops and a metro station nearby. Staff are helpful and efficient and speak English well. The interior decoration was what exceeded my expectations!!!! Super classical elegant fancy interior design, truly blown away. The spiral staircase that goes around and up til the top floor is very beautiful with many stain-glass window details. Room is very big as well which impressed me too ! Beds were comfy, sofa is very long and big, nice welcome gifts/ food given in the room, toilet is spacious and clean, and ample space for opening big luggages. Loved my stay here :)

Our stay at the Capitolo Riviera Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is fantastic—conveniently close to the train station, making it a breeze to explore the stunning Riviera. The hotel itself is a modern gem, with sleek, beautifully designed architecture and impeccable landscaping that create a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. A special shoutout to Simone, who was an absolute star! He organized a boat charter for us, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip—swimming in the crystal waters of Portofino and visiting the breathtaking sunken statue of Jesus of the Abyss was an unforgettable experience. The hotel also impressed us with their attention to detail, even ensuring our electric car was fully charged and ready to go. In an area where finding a high-quality hotel with exceptional service can be challenging, Capitolo Riviera is a true standout. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly, highly recommend this hidden gem.

Breakfast was outstanding- if you wanted something that wasn’t available on the buffet you could order it from the restaurant! Also the three staff we met at the hotel were excellent. Therese, Giacomo and Cihara were kind and so helpful answering our questions about the area , the restaurants in the area and all other matters. We would not hesitate to stay at the Hotel De Ville again! The location is perfect!
