Albergo Il Cacciatore offers large rooms and a terrace overlooking the Umbrian valley. It is located in the medieval centre of Spello, between the cities of Assisi and Foligno.

The location was great. Very central. The receptionist was very helpful; showed us how to get to the free parking nearby and recommended some restaurants for dinner. We had a great view from our bedroom window and we enjoyed relaxing and catching the view of the valley, with a drink on the terrace on the main floor. We had left our window open for cooling off the room and discovered mosquitoes buzzing around us in the night. Not a great sleep!

We had a lovely stay at Pekko. The views are stunning, the room was very comfortable, our host Tiziana was very helpful and we loved their do Arturo. The breakfast was beautiful and we loved strolling through the olive trees. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great and unforgettable stay at Il Renaiolo and we certainly recommend it to anyone who may have a keen interest to stay in an agriturismo in Umbria. The location is logistically perfect for excursions. Moreover, it is secluded but still close to the lovely town of Spello, the town of art and flowers and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Il Renaiolo is magical and capable of delivering the essence of a time.
The structure is beautifully designed located in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mount Subasio, just outside Spello. It is easily reached by car. It has large and airy rooms which are very clean and well heated.
Big compliments to the owners, especially to Giusa for the plentiful breakfast with Umbrian flavours and for the home-made cakes (simply delicious) and tea and also to Francesco and Chiara for the warm welcome and hospitality. We felt we were part of the Renaiolo family and not just occasional guests. Their dedication to service is really exceptional.
Here you can also find excellent anti-fatigue massages by Fabio especially to neck, feet and back.
If you are looking for an unforgettable stay in a homely and welcoming environment, do not look any further - B&B Renaiolo is the perfect place. For sure we will be back again!!

Absolutely amazing place to stay!
Accommodation was 5star as were the hosts. Would definitely stay again.
Spello is by far the most beautiful town in the area.
Spello is by far the most beautiful town in the area. Inside the Roman wall, everything is beautifully maintained. There is fine dining of a quality far above what you would expect in a small town, Il Molino and La Cantina are exceptional. You do need a car to explore the area. Train travel to Roma and Firenze is easy which makes it a good base. Everything you need or want is within walking distance, but have to be able to walk up hills or it will be too difficult and you will miss most of it. I was there during the quiet of winter. I imagine it can get pretty busy in tourist season.

Spello is a very pretty village in Umbria.
Spello is a very pretty village in Umbria. Our accommodation was at the base of the hill overlooking a piazza. Our host very kind and he was there to meet us and explain the accommodation. We had a car and did a day trip to Assisi and visited a beautiful winery for a great tasting.

Spello is an amazing town, so historic and interesting.
Spello is an amazing town, so historic and interesting. I loved walking through the old streets. Staff at all the shops, cafes and restaurants were so helpful and kind. I am disappointed I mussed the festivals held in Spello and hope to return to experience at least some if it.

Spello is a beautiful, very clean old town.
Spello is a beautiful, very clean old town. The old town is very easy to walk around, mostly hilly but not to steep. There is no parking in the old town, if you have a car it needs to be parked about 200 metres away. You can drive in close to your stay and drop off luggage. There are many dining options and a variety of lovely shops.

Spello is small, safe and beautiful.
Spello is small, safe and beautiful. It’s all uphill or downhill so good exercise while strolling. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous so strolling alongside the fields and listening to the birds is a relaxing way to spend time. The city streets and buildings are ancient and very cool. People keep it clean and so many have flowers. Easy to just hang out in the piazzas. A few museums, churches and points of interest but we just wanted to soak it in

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. It felt like each time I went for a walk I would find a new little street filled with plants and flowers. Very relaxing in the evenings with lovely wine and Bruscetta. We also found a Couple of places with craft beer.

This is a lovely, cosy appartment directly in Spello old town. We were made very welcome by Stefania and given lots of useful and good tips where to do shopping and eating. The appartment has everything and more that you need for your stay including smaller things like coffee and water. Two large bedrooms and a comfortable kitchen/dining room. There was even a supply of fresh fruit with oranges from Sicily.
Parking was free in a public carpark about 5 minutes walk from the appartment.
We originally chose this place for the location. It's the perfectly paced between the train station for fun day trips and Spello's beautiful scenery.
In the end we stayed another night because the host was super friendly, the pool was a lifesaver in hot days and visiting this beautiful town was left so easy by its perfect location.
If you have the choice, go for this place and not a fancy soulless hotel and you'll have just as much a blast like we did!
It is a fabulous small stone residence on the edge of Spello town with windows and balconies overlooking the valley. It had everything we needed including lovely old antique furniture and an authentic unique coffee maker with fresh coffee. Great little touches like a first aid kit and lemon juice for tea.
The location is in the old part of Spello, and everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance, including the Pinturicchio fresco cycle in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta and a museum containing impressive Roman mosaics. The host was very kind and helpful.
The apartment was right in the heart of Spello old town. It was furnished and decorated in contemporary style with good WiFi and everything you need for a holiday visit.
