Highly recommended hotel. Brightly designed. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious, and it is obvious that they tried to think of small details so that the place provides an excellent experience. Great shower. The bed is comfortable and pleasant. The balcony is spacious and with a breathtaking view. The breakfast is varied and very tasty. The staff are pleasant and extremely helpful. For example, my wife is a vegetarian, and for dinner, the kitchen and the waitress simply went out of their way to adapt a dish to her taste. Value above and beyond. It's a shame we had to continue the trip. Otherwise, we would have been happy to stay longer. Much longer.

A romantic house with 4 small holiday flats (each has 45 square meters with a living room including a fully equipped kitrchen, a bed room and a bathroom plus a balcony) allowing for privacy and relaxation inmidst of nature. The house is sourrounded by a big private garden. We enjoyed the big wooden terrace with tables, a swing and the hot pot. In addition there is a small but cozy wellness zone with Finnish sauna, waterbed, infrared, shower and some fitness equipment. Ideal for those who like peace and nature. The village is a bit more than a kilometer away - a 20 minutes walk. In the village you will find a pizzeria, restaurants, hotels, shops, a big supermarket, basically anything you need. Who does not want to walk that far might consider having lunch or dinner at the closeby (300 meters) restaurant "Schluff" or another that can also be reached in ten minutes ("Pippo"). From the village a cablecar brings you to the capital of the region: Bolzano (in Italian) or Bozen (in German). The city has 100.000 inhabitants and offers countless attractions for your daytrips. But we preferred staying on the countryside. House Himmelfahrt is indeed a perfect destination for those who are keen on green travelling. The house has its own sustainability-strategy and can be easily reached by train (from Rome to Bolzano you travel less than 5 hours) and cable car (from Bolzano to Soprabolzano in 12 minutes). Who arrives by electric car can use the charging station of House Himmelfahrt. Our kids enjoyed to see hens, cats, horses and donkeys every day. They also loved the pavillion dedicated to the young guests of House Himmelfahrt (a tiny adult-free zone). I had many peaceful moments in the "atelier" of House Himmelfahrt: a wodden caravan fully equipped with paper, colours, pens, brushes etc allowing to unchain your creativity with a breathtaking view to the Dolomites. I enjoyed the feeling that the whole area is a totally safe space for children.

We booked the regular appartment and: - it is a lovely and vey comfortable place with everything you may need in terms of amenities and appliances; - it has a splendid view on Bolzano; - it is perfectly located in front of the little train that takes you where you need and in between different activities that can be reached with nice walks; - David was a fantastic host doing everything he could to make us 100% satisfied as he told us. - it is an unbeatable deal thanks to the passes that David gives his host and which allow one to use for free the tourist train, the cable car to Bolzano, the buses, and visit museums, etc. It saved us hundreds of euros as a family of five. Again, thanks a lot David and see you on our next trip to the region!

The staff were incredible. The Flix bus drops you at the Bolzano Sud station which is no where near the main station and there were no taxis around in the early evening. I could have taken the train to the next station, but was unfamiliar with the metro system so when I called the hotel, they called me a taxi. That was just the beginnng of a great experience that included allowing me a late check out with no charge due to a rainy day departure. Breakfast was really good, the building is so interesting architecturally and very well decorated, and the location is great.

The ride up and down Sopra Bolzano on the cable car (No. 161) from Bolzano was fascinating and fun. The vineyards visible below were breathtakingly cool, and you could even see the Earth's pyramids. The red narrow-gauge train (No. 160) connecting Sopra Bolzano and Colalvo was also unique and interesting. From Colalvo, take the bus No. 166 to Pemmern Tre Vie (final stop) and take the cable car up to Rittenhorn for a panoramic view. The circular lake, which is off-limits, was crystal clear, and the sky was incredibly beautiful. It was the most beautiful sky I'd seen on this trip.

A cable car runs between Bolzano and Oberbozen, allowing visitors to explore without a car. A narrow-gauge railway connects Oberbozen and Klobenstein, providing easy access to numerous hiking destinations, such as the famous earth pyramids and, of course, the vineyards. Numerous opportunities for wine tasting complete a stay in this incredibly beautiful setting.

The trip to the Corno was beautiful.

The trip to the Corno was beautiful. The concert by the Bolzano String Academy was beautiful. The walk organised by Drei Birken was beautiful and engaging. Super compliments to the young chef of Drei Birken. In Soprabolzano there are too few parking spaces. The train is too crowded at certain times. I would add a small wagon.

We enjoyed our stay at Vidora Apartments. Beautiful, cosy and well equipped apartment with a great view over mountains and valleys of Soprabolzano. You can reach the location by car( 30 min from Bolzano) or cable cabin. Nearby there are plenty of activities and places to visit. Big thanks to David, the host, that is very nice and helpful. A convenient location to stay if you visit Bolzano.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The staff was accommodating from the check-in desk to the team in the restaurant (especially Chris) to the housekeeping lady. The area is so magical and peaceful. The Spa is a big bounce. We took the chalet with 2 rooms, big space and comfy beds. All you need is available. There is a train station less than 5 mints on foot.

Beautiful hôtel in the campain of soprabolzano. Very easy to come to the hotel using the funicular. Nice welcome by Gastholf, even if he doesn't speak english. Nice, large and practicle room. Very good breakfast. We love our 3 nights and 3 dinners. Gastholf gives us some wine before our leaving. Many thanks. We recommande many times !!!
