Given there's a kitchenette, would suggest adding to kitchen supplies - bowls, cutting knives, wooden sppon etc. Also, suggest lighting along the spiral staircase. Can be difficult to see steps as you descent. Would suggest written advise re local restaurants, transport options, other agri businesses.

This apartment is very cozy and comfortable to stay, there is everything needed and you feel really at home. The location is quite picturesque and you can enjoy the views from a balcony. The host was very welcoming to every guest, making this stay a fantastic experience. Highly recommended! The overall environment and rooms were very clean and tidy. The space was also large, and there was even a balcony. The swimming pool and sauna were excellent, with no time restrictions. After skiing, it was the perfect way to relax. Breakfast was delicious, with handmade croissants and desserts. Paired with the stunning view, it was a wonderful way to start the day. I truly loved this place—every detail reflected the host’s dedication. I will definitely visit again in the future!

Nice to wander among the cobbled streets of the old town and set off on the wine trail among the vineyards. Walk for as far as you want then head down to the valley floor to get a bus back to Sondrio. Great walks in Valmalenco. Not far to Switzerland - Passo Bernina is very picturesque.

I really can’t say enough good things- Olmo & his family are lovely. Their restaurant in town is as good as the delicious homemade breakfasts. The rooms had everything I needed in a very cool, updated old building. I loved wandering around the peaceful town.

Cycling through the Sentiero Valtellina is glorious, and Sondrio is well situated between Colico and Bormio on the trail. We arrived in Sondrio by bicycle on a very warm Wednesday (85 degrees). Because we had already ridden through much of the town, although we would have liked to visit the local art and history museum and vineyards in the area, bathing and cooling off became our top priorities. The restaurant at the Grand Hotel Della Posta is excellent.

I came for the Valtellina Wine Trail 42km which starts in Tirano and finishes in Sondrio. Sondrio is a perfect place for this. Easy to get to by train from Milan. The town is great to stroll around; there are a lot of fun shops, enotecas and bars. The views of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. The people up here are really friendly and always willing to help with any questions.

A small town (less than 25,000 inhabitants) with a beautiful historic center, easy to explore on foot and very clean. Lovely walks in the surrounding area, from the famous terraced vineyards and their wineries to the mountain villages, most reachable in less than an hour by car.

Ideal accommodation for exploring the Lower Valtellina.

Ideal accommodation for exploring the Lower Valtellina. Castles and churches worth seeing are within easy reach. Our trip to Val di Mello was the highlight. For a meal I recommend Trattoria Olmo, and for cakes, coffee or an Aperol I recommend Pasticceria Gelateria La Milanese on Garibaldi Square. In San Martino we ate local Italian food at Fiorelli.

I traveled alone, the owner of the hotel received me very friendly. Very clean and tidy, the room is very nice and clean. The price included breakfast, which was prepared by the owner of the hotel herself. Many thanks to the hotel owners for their help with a flat tire. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect hotel and especially staff. Great breakfast, beautiful view and nice and quiet location close to Lago di Como and other places. We could also take our dog, so that is extra plus point. Dino also gave us great tips for trips. We had a great time here so 11 out of 10.

Excellent and modern hotel with a lot of wood and designer touches! Loved the breakfast and the view from the property. The staff is nice and friendly as well. Relatively close to St Moritz. When arriving with a bit lower car - perhaps the upper parking might be a better choice :-)
