BOMA was the best hotel we stayed in during our Italy trip. We were greeted by the most kind and gorgeous woman, Eleonora, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed (an extra bed in our room, dinner reservations, the address for a laundromat, even ice for my husband’s sore knee). She was just a breath of fresh air. There is an amazing restaurant at the hotel that I cannot recommend enough. It is packed full of locals at night so you feel like you’ve stumbled across a hidden gem. Liliana looked after us both times we dined and she was brilliant. I haven’t seen anyone work so hard in the service industry for a long time. She had a special dish made for our very hungry and tired children, nothing was too much for her including bringing you a glass of Prosecco to enjoy in the garden or organising water for the kids while they swam in the pool.

The place is outside Rome, not many shops, a bit removed...

The place is outside Rome, not many shops, a bit removed from the noise and bustle of Rome. There's a small supermarket where you can find pretty much everything you need. You can buy your train tickets at the Silvestrini dal bar right next to the station and enjoy a very good cappuccino while savoring one of their wonderful pastries.
