The staff were exceptional. We had a problem with our car during our stay and the hotel staff, especially Natalia on reception, was absolutely amazing in helping us sort it out. Good breakfast, great location for skiing with a chairlift just a few metres away.

The value of a place is as high as the people who manage it. In this light I would like to say that the manager and the front desk people have done everything to make our stay perfectly. The hotel is recently renovated and it looks very nice. Also the view is incredible. Breakfast included almost everything (it would have been perfect if they had vegetables also). You can buy the skipass from the reception and also the recomand a ski rental place where you have a discount. I strongly recomand having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant because is fabulous.

We enjoyed our stay and the super friendly and service minded staff! The half board is great value: really super nice 4 course dinner served with a big smile. All rooms face south west with a terrace and you wake up to the sun over the mountains 😁 Getting around is easy, bus or walk to the lifts and the city centre. A great skiing area and also hiking options (snow permitting) on the south facing slopes.

I chose TH Sestriere – Olympic Village for a special week in the snow with my daughter and my son, making her big dream of a holiday on the Olympic slopes come true. It was a truly magical week. The location is perfect—ski-in/ski-out with breathtaking views—plus a modern gym, indoor pool, and spa that make the resort ideal all year round, with or without snow. We stayed in a spacious suite with two double beds and two bathrooms, impeccably maintained and extremely comfortable. For my daughter’s birthday, they surprised us with a beautiful cake and sparkling wine: such a thoughtful gest. Excellent service, varied and abundant cuisine, spacious and welcoming common areas. Outstanding value for money. We will definitely return—heartfelt thanks to the entire staff, and especially to the manager!

Although a lovely little town, the availability of taxis is...

Although a lovely little town, the availability of taxis is very poor. When I came up from train station, the bus dropped me off at the town square, a nice man told me where to go & I had to walk with my luggage to Palace 1 as i could not find any taxi service & volunteers didn't know of any (I am 76 yrs. old & that was a major trek with luggage, if I had to go to Palace 2, I would have been in major discomfort). Return bus service from hotel to ski area was wonderful but was over at 5:15. Because of transportation & being sick, I did not eat much while there - I found a small grocery store & bought breakfast needs & did eat something at ski hill before returning for night but once back to hotel in evening did not go out as I did not know of transportation. I did find some on my last night but much too late (& expensive) to be useful. To be truthful, if I was feeling better I probably would have found other options, but in general not impressed with Sestriere. Another thing lacking is adequate wifi.

Sestriere is great, love the food in town and the skiing. But sadly we didnt get good snow til our last day so lots of runs were closed and the snow was very icy and crunchy. Id recommend later january or february for optimal conditions.

For New Years week, half the slopes weren't open.

For New Years week, half the slopes weren't open. Lifts were JAMMED on the Sunday and Monday; less bad midweek. No mid mountain lifts at Sestriere, but Borgata had at least one, but it was closed. Also very limited toilettes on the mountain. Only one on-slope restaurant on Sestrier mountain.

Sesteiere is a delightful town high up in the mountains. Ours was a summer visit; we enjoyed the town which has some good restaurants and bars (especially Pinky's!), good walks, and a great gondola to the top of the mountain with wonderful views. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to other small towns in the area, all overflowing with flowers - surely this is the petunia capital of the world! We can't comment on Sestriere in winter, but as a summer location, we would definitely recommend it to all age groups.

(Hotiday is a online reseller of unsold hotel rooms, in this case Hotel du Col, Sestriere. This review applies to Hotel du Col) Sestriere is a ski resort on the Col de Sestriere. Hotel du Col is in the main street. When I stayed there (late June) parking was free, apparently charges start in July. Modern, comfortable hotel room. Hotel du Col has its own restaurant, or plenty of pizzas, restaurants etc just across the street.

This is the kind of james bond -for your eyes only- hotel; the atmosphere, personell bar and restaurants are absolutely fantastic, not to forget the spa (which you need -understandebly- need to book in advance). The rooms however need to be looked after better, in my opinion; they are dated, and for example the curtains do not hang properly and the lamps in the rooms and the hallways do not hang straight, which is very clumsy and easily to be fixed. But inspite of this my wife and I will certainly come back, because of the great experience!

Spacious rooms (compared to French standards), basic but good "sports"-hotel. Reasonably equiped kitchen. Personel at reception extremely friendly and helpful. Garage right under the apartment at extra cost but worth it (especially since it was snowing the whole week). Great skiing area. Small shower but great water temperature at all times !

Staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The location was brilliant for ski in ski out. The shuttle taxi to and from Sestriere was really helpful. Breakfast was good although would have been good to have had boiling hot water for tea.
