We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful apartment. We appreciated the well equipped accommodation. The location was excellent- quiet and peaceful. The hostess was very helpful and liased with the luggage courier to ease our walk on the Via de Francesco.

Although a bit challenging to get there in the last 500m, the effort paid off big time. Accommodation was excellent, super relaxed, breathtaking views and Walter an awesome host. He even did a quick tour of the surroundings to show us 13th century church afrescos and 4.000 years old rupestre paintings. Location also very good, first nice place after a tiring hike leaving Spoleto. And he shared his meal with us so we didn’t have to go out.

We love everything! The breakfast is fantastic! The people is very kind and they treat you like a king!!! The bed lining is excellent and the pillows are both in small flat and fluffy versions! The shower is perfect too. You ca park in the property for 15€ a day, but as the hotel is next to the parking lot, in case you prefer you can park there too. The hotel is 2 min from the escalators that bring you to the top of the city, but if y decide to walk will be a 10 min to everywhere from the hotel!

I had a brilliant one-night stay at this lovely hotel in January. I enjoyed it from the moment I pulled into the super convenient parking space which had been reserved for me, right through to check out. The staff were friendly but efficient. My room was really great, it had a big double bed, with lots of space to move around it, and a balcony with a view over the valley. The location was ideal too: easily accessible by car but still part of the old city and only a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Great value for money overall.

The most amazing hotel. Surrounded by an oak forest and olive trees, the most beautiful pool has lots of sun and shade. It is so peaceful with just the sounds of bird songs. The wonderful staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, they did so much to make our stay so pleasant. Our room was perfectly clean and very modern. Great shower, big comfortable bed. Everything immaculate. We also had a fantastic dinner in the busy restaurant surrounded by locals all coming for the excellent food.

It's a beautiful little hill town with a nice central square...

It's a beautiful little hill town with a nice central square, good cafés and restaurants, very limited shopping, and a truffle museum! Very up and down so visitors need to be prepared to walk a lot but the views from high up are worth it. There's a rafting/kayaking outfit on the river, and play park with zip wires and tree walks up in Valcasana which looks good, and a municipal swimming pool. Near (by car) to some other very beautiful hill towns and there are good walks and cycle ways locally too.

We were upgraded to an apartment and it was large and comfortable. We stayed in winter and the apartment was warm and cosy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent - we had dinner in the restaurant and the menu was a good representation of local cuisine, cooked to perfection. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of food options. We also made use of the spa facilities, which are highly recommended. Scheggino is quaint and historic. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, such lovely and friendly staff. So scenic above a medieval village. Amazing breakfast . We thought there’s an outdoor pool, which there was not, but we used the spa instead (35 euros pp) which was royal and totally worth it.
