Much better experience than you could expect just looking at photos provided by hotel. If you're traveling by car (that's my second trip to Florence, first time I was staying in the center), location shouldn't be the problem as well.

We are a family of 5. it's always difficult to get decent accommodation as 5 is an odd number. We were given a suite with 2 rooms, 1 room had 1 large queen bed and 2 single beds, and the other room had a single bed. It would have been nice for me and my husband to have a private room, however, this set-up was very acceptable. It's just our personal preference. The bathroom was nice and spacious, with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and shower cap provided. The room was bright and comfortable, clean and screens on the windows allowed fresh air, bug-free. The pool was nice and cool and my kids loved it. You can't dive due to the shape, however, it was fun to be in or simply sunbathe around. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety, my only complaint would be eggs, I was craving eggs, but they do not serve eggs. Again, my personal preference. Alex is a wonderful baker and her cakes are to die for. The whole team is brilliant. You are given allocated space in a shared fridge to store your cool things. You are not allowed to use the cooker, however. Tea and Coffee is available throughout the day. And they also offer filtered water, with washable bottles for you to borrow throughout your stay. The local area is nice and peaceful. We hired a car, as the place is a little remote but accessible to local shops and restaurants. In your room, you'll have a list of recommendations which all worked out amazing for us.

We were in emergency, we needed a room immediately because of car problems. We think this apartment was a very good value for money, comfortable, clean, equipped with everything we needed. It was our perfect shelter. Restaurants in walking distance, close to public transportation. And we are really thankful to our extremely helpful host!

Once arrived Valentina was waiting for me and she gave me all the needed info to make the stay easier. The appartment is really nice, very cleaned with a good location. The city center is reachable with tram in 20 mins. I do recommend Enea Guest House for anyone wants nice place with affordable cost !!

Scandicci is a vibrant place because it's close to Florence...

Scandicci is a vibrant place because it's close to Florence but low-cost. There are shopping malls and pizzerias. Obviously, you can't get there without a car! If you want a place that's relatively inexpensive (there's no tourist tax) and you want to go to Florence, it's the ideal place. But Scandicci has nothing special.

It's very close to Florence, you can get there by tram, but it also offers all the positives of the countryside, vineyards, horses, olive groves, old Italian villas... Beautiful! (of course you have to look for something on the hills, the part of town down there is not that exciting)
