The staff at this property were incredibly welcome from the moment of arrival. The room was lovely and clean and the swimming pool was spectacular. The ladies at the pool were great sorting out beds and everything and the access to the bar with cold drinks was a lovely extra!

Excellent location, really good breakfast with great coffee and incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel at home from the very beginning. The hotel’s restaurant - Acquamarina - has a nice seaview and you can enjoy amazing dishes with fresh seafood there. I highly recommend this place both to those who are travelling for vacation, as well as to business travelers who would enjoy working on their laptop with a beautiful sea view.

What a pleasant stay! Although the single room being relatively small - no surprises here - it was extremely comfortable, well equipped and very easy to keep warm. The bed was fantastic, the linen is of great quality and the towels were large and made of cotton and really dry you up! The staff was another high point: attentive and always available to help. For example, I asked the cleaning team to solve one detail at the bathroom and they promptly and efficiently solved it - great service. The location is great - a lot of restaurants, shops, supermarket, train station nearby. I highly recommend this place - you'll not regret staying here!

Size of the room. There is AC. Room and shared area (kitchen and living room) are clean. Breakfast was well prepared and host baked delicious pies and small bites for breakfast. Can use kitchen to cook lunch and dinner as it is well equipped with cutlery, utensils and pots/pans. The accommodation is a semi basement so it is cool inside even when it is quite warm outside. It is peaceful and quiet. Host is friendly and helpful, very accommodating. I was able to leave my luggage and picked up 1-2 hours later. Happy about that.

This accommodation was gorgeous, right in the middle of the countryside with a beautiful view but easily within reach of a town. We specifically wanted to visit the Vatican, Claudio was so kind and organised for us to have a tour with his friend and that was fantastic, so thank you so much. The train journey into the Vatican was also very simple, low cost and quick which was brilliant. Lovely breakfast too :)

Santa Marinella is close to Rome.

Santa Marinella is close to Rome. Trains are frequent and take less than one hour. It is very popular in the summer months for Italian visitors. You have a good selection of beaches, that mostly charge from €35 to €50 per day (08:45am-19:00) for two sun loungers and one umbrella. The beaches are very clean and well maintained. I speak Italian but some staff speak English. Bars and restaurants surround the beach so you have a good choice. Via Aurelia is closeby with plenty of shops and a very welcoming airconditioned supermarket, Conad. I revisited Santa Marinella having lived there many years ago. Some things have changed but overall, a lovely place to visit with or without family. I would highly recommend. It is recommended to book months in advance as tourists return every year. Places I recommend you stay are Maison Suite in via Aurelia or Hotel Cavalluccio Marino overlooking the beautiful sea. I have not supplied any photos as all photos available on line show Santa Marinella exactly how it is. Vi consigliate di visitare Santa Marinella nel futuro....

This property was small, and close to Citavecchia, the port...

This property was small, and close to Citavecchia, the port for Rome) the staff very fabulous, and the breakfast was amazing thank you. The rooms were tired, bathroom in the suite was not user friendly, and the beds were sooooo hard. Loved that the property was on the beach, but we had to learn the "rock waddle" to get over the rocks and into the water. The ocean was cool and very clean. All round a great stay to revive before the long flights back to Australia.

This was a last-minute decision, and we loved it.

This was a last-minute decision, and we loved it. I wish we had longer to explore. It's a great place to rest and unwind. It was easy to get around by walking; however, as it was not peak time, it was impossible to get a taxi. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, and all of them are delicious.

Santa Marinella is a very quiet town, with very few food options at the time I visited, second week of April. I feel that the beach and bay area could be renovated to be more welcoming. The best restaurant to eat was Punicum, their food was 10/10. It wasn't well advertised, I stumbled upon it whilst out walking one day.

The ocean is steps away.

The ocean is steps away. We were there off season so many things were closed. Come a little later in April. Restaurants around our BB opened after 7 , se we ventured a little further and found options open prior to 7.

This was a pleasant place to spend a few days before taking...

This was a pleasant place to spend a few days before taking a cruise from Civitiveccia which is just one rail stop away. Winter temperatures were excellent for walking around the resort and visiting adjacent towns by rail. Although winter, the resort still has the main facilities available.

We had a corner seaview room and also 2 rooms facing the road. I would highly recommend the corner seaview rooms because the lighting was very good. The view from the restaurant is water front and beautiful. The hotel has access to a rocky beach and they provide beach chairs plus towels. They also provided wet shoes for walking in the water because there are a lot seaweed growing on the rocks. . The sea water was clear and calm for swimming too. Overall we had an relaxing stay.

The property was excellent for 3 adults and 2 children and the owners very welcoming. They left wine and coffee and the washing machine was a real bonus with 2 children. We were able to arrive early and the owner arranged a taxi for our departure flights. We found there was an excellent supermarket close by and ate a wonderful dinner in the local hotel by the beach one evening.

It was a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings beautiful. The beach and the train station are close by, which was a factor in our choice. Danila was very nice and helpful. We were faced with a late night rail strike on check-out day and she helped us find alternatives to get back to Rome.

Nothing. The hotel was awful. On arrival we thought it had closed down. It is miles from shops, restaurants, things to do. A terrible place to stay.
