This hotel was such a nice surprise! I only regret that I didn’t book two nights here, overly cautious from bad experience with other properties. The location is perfect - so near the main train station and a short walk from the center. The room was so clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive and actually at the reception for check in and consult at any hour, something that is becoming more and more rare in hotels in Italy. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Genova.

Staff were extremely helpful. Girl at reception showed me places on map to go and see and to eat. Room was very big and had a huge bed and bath with a big tv with Sky Italy. I had a view to harbour that was great (besides the grey bridge that passes by). I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great with fresh focaccia which is a must in Genova

Our experience on Palazzo Grillo was exquisite! The building where the hotel is located is beautiful, and lovely decorated, and the facilities, really remind Roman architecture with beautiful, great taste. We got a transfer taxi from the airport which was lovely, he was very welcome and brought us literally inside the hotel, a great experience. The hotel arranged everything and they are very punctual. The staffs at reception are friendly and very respectful. The housekeeping was excellent as well, she tidied our room even though our first night in there. The room: It is very spacious, we had a view of the patio to the church and it was great. Big room and decoration once again fantastic, comfortable beds, great shower, and water pressure. Location: it was literally 5 minutes to most of the main attractions in the city, and we loved it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genoa.

Very kind and patient host. Our ship arrived very late and the host was very patient with us. Grazie mille !! The hotel is a dream and located in a renovated old manor. The lovely garden behind is an attraction and offers joyful relaxation.
