The hotel is great if you're planning to visit Il Tempio della Fortuna in Palestrina or this part of Lazio/Rome in general. Run by a local family for years. Very friendly and great food. Great location in the centre of town and perfect for bars and restaurants...and there are plenty of those around. Overall, a good stay, despite its condition.

Couldn't go wrong with a special # like that... 1956 :) Easy & safe parking on-site, only one set of stairs, air-con was effective, self-serve breakfast was adequate, instructions by the host were quick and clear, comfy bed, value for money. Perfect for our needs!

Hard to think of a better location - the place being in the heart of the old city, literally across the fence of Villa d'Este, one of the main tourist attractions. Inside looks freshly renovated and features beautiful interior design. Very comfy and sparkling clean too, with attention for details (for example, beautiful tiles in tha bathroom, super fluffy towels or hot water kettle and big cups which we as tea drinkers very much appreciated while missed on them at the most other places while traveling in Italy - it is just some examples of many) The hosts were also very welcoming and attentive to our needs, sharing recommendations that further improved our stay.

The location is perfect if one wants to visit the Villa d'Este or/and Villa Adriana. There are delicious and friendly staffed coffeeshops as well as restaurants closeby. It's possible to park on the grounds and the highway is super close which makes it perfect if you are traveling and only stopping shortly to recharge. Our host has been perfect!
