Beautiful villa with a soul, very well located in a charming village, just 15 minutes from Argegno. The host was lovely and very helpful. Also had a great approach to dogs, overall a very dog-friendly place! A big, beautiful garden and private parking just by the house (not on the street). We were late for a check in and the host was very understanding and we had no problems with checking in a few hours later than planned. The breakfast was tasty and with a great view from the balcony.

Amazing place, after visiting you would love to stay and live in such place. Nature, food, animals, views and amazing starts at night. People that works there are amazing. You will be brought there by a jeep on an ancient road that was there since Roman Empire then you'll be met by lamas and yaks, after amazing dinner made of products from their farm you will be able to look at the starts in total darkness and forget about every problem in your life. Highly reccomend!

The view was breathtaking, the penthouse that we stayed in was enormous, it had a big terrace with front lake view , we had breakfast in our apartment, that had a dining room, every morning someone brought and arranged everything in the room. After a few days on Lake Como and a last minute change of plans for our next stop we landed up at Parco San Marco. It was a wonderful, serendipitous, beautiful few days on Lake Lugano. Arguably more beautiful, without all the tourist craziness of Como. The staff made our family feel at home and our kids not want to leave. The water sports team were the highlight of our trip for our kids. Waterskiing across the border of Italy and Switzerland will be a life memory for my son.

Beautiful location on the Italian side of Lake Lugano, complete on it's own with a small beach, splash pools and water slide, spa, a playground, a fish and turtle pond, childcare and three restaurants. The place was spotless. The service was exceptional! I mean really! Everyone smiles and it felt they are genuinely interested in the people around. They waived off the charges for our second child. :) and sent us bottles of water for the drive back. I've never had that before. We'll definitely go back again.

It's a cute, friendly town.

It's a cute, friendly town. Not overrun with tourists like so many other towns on the lake. Good restaurants, good bars, a great pasticceria, and good cafes. Not one bad moment! (When traveling through the town, do NOT follow Google map suggestions - if the occur - to use "small" roads. Note the different widths of roads on the maps. Only use the wider one. Narrow ones can take you to alleys you may not be able to go through.)

- The reception (Simone) is amazing. - The breakfast is great with varieties and the restaurant area has big windows with lotsa light facing garden, which I love about it. - The mattress was very uncomfortable. - The room was super cold in May and we couldn't sleep coz we were freezing.

If you have much luggage, I would travel there by car.

If you have much luggage, I would travel there by car. Otherwise travelling by bus was really easy and inexpensive. We ate at most of the places on the main street through the town. But our favourite meal was at Mare e Monti. They offered a great assorted seafood option.

We loved the views, in all honesty they were just spectacular. The best part of driving to the village was admiring the countryside as you got there. That being said, make sure you don't have a very wide vehicle as you drive up from the Lake Lugano side. The roads are very thin and have some sharp hairpin bends. Driving up from Lake Como is much more relaxing, using the main road. Our favourite place to eat was the Taverna Due Castagni. The food was amazing, the prices (average 11€ per course) make it superbe value for money. The staff were very patient with us, as we had accidentally turned up without booking.

Great location for walking and hiking in the hills around the Italian Lakes. The hotel is a great little family run affair. We had a family room for three that worked well and was plenty large enough. Flexibility on check-in and great breakfasts. Short walk down to the small town square and many dining and drinking options. A totally different (positive) experience from anything lakeside.

we liked everything about this hotel. we planed to stay 2 days and we added another day. it was super clean, quite and very good for a couple. good location 8min to center of san fidele. easy to get a bus to como and restaurants available breakfast was good and staff was so kind and helpful. they dont speak english but you can use google translate and they try to help as much as they can

A cosy hotel with fairly spacious rooms that have everything you need, including a refrigerator on the shared terrace. Very clean. Breakfasts are sufficient to start the day off right. Amazing cappuccino. The restaurant serves high-quality and delicious Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with any questions.
