Our stay at Podere Grotta Antica was an unforgettable experience. The property is set in a magical location with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. It is run by an incredibly kind and generous family, who have clearly poured their heart and soul into the place. And it shows in every little detail. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. Everything feels well-planned and made for true relaxation. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding – homemade yogurt, fresh eggs, pastries, local cheeses and jams, all served on the most beautiful tableware we’ve ever seen. Each morning felt like a celebration. We were also lucky to enjoy a delicious homemade dinner prepared by the hostess herself, using fresh local ingredients – a true taste of Tuscany. The host was always ready to help with anything and gave us excellent recommendations for nearby towns and sights to visit, which truly enriched our stay.

A warm and welcoming couple, together with their two sons, manage both the agriturismo and a remarkable on-site restaurant. Their passion for hospitality shines through in everything they do. Speaking of the restaurant – it is absolutely exceptional. The family themselves do all the cooking, and the food is nothing short of world-class. Each dish is a celebration of Tuscan tradition, prepared with fresh, local ingredients and presented with elegance. Dining here felt like discovering a hidden culinary gem. Another highlight is the pet-friendly atmosphere. Guests are welcome to bring their furry companions, and the property is also home to four incredibly friendly cats and two equally lovely dogs, who add even more charm and warmth to the stay.
