Very cosy, lovely modern chalet decor with a rustic vibe, large bathroom, comfy beds and cosy duvet. Minibar and two armchairs in the room. Big tv ( which we didn’t use) Lots of high tech dimmable lighting and coloured lights in the shower. Great location for crossing the St Bernard Pass. Peaceful rural location but only a short drive off the main route. Good breakfast buffet. Very friendly helpful staff. Parking was good and close. Think we will be back!

The view is superb and the host is the nicest lady you'll ever meet. Location is 20-30min drive to the Aosta/ Pila ski cable car, which suited well the scope of our visit. To drive up and the mountain to the cottage is a unique experience on its own. The house is warm, welcoming and full of nostalgic chalet style charm - to be enjoyed exactly as that. There's also a small restaurant / bar a few minutes walk from the cottage, which comes in handy. The kids loved it and we hope to visit again one day.

Everything was above expectations here. This was our first stop of our Italy trip and it couldn't have started better than this. The house is situated in between large, snowy mountains with only the crickets and rivers as background sounds. We slept with our window open since it was the best white noise sound to sleep with. Also go for dinner here and try some of the wines they offer: they are local and amazing! During breakfast you must try the excellent cappuccino and home made marmelade. Finally, Sara and her family are super friendly, warm hosts. We felt immediately at home here.

The hotel is beautiful and traditional with stunning views across the Alps. The staff were exceptionally friendly and were kind and courteous during our stay. The food in the restaurant is traditional, local, homemade and good value for money. Parking in front of the hotel was easy and convenient. We only stayed for one night en route to Tuscany, but we will definitely be back!

The Suisse Locando di Borgo is an inn located in a small mountain village close to the Grand St. Bernard Pass on the Italian side. It was not difficult to find and we could park close to the hotel. We visited in the off season and were the only guests. The restaurant had an old world charm and while the menu was small the food was tasty. The service was outstanding.

We loved this small mountain hotel. It had such a feeling of warmth and history and was a perfect base for us in the Aosta Valley. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast as well as a quiet and comfortable room.
