Magical place! Such beauty! We seemed to be in a museum. Antique furniture, paintings, unusual layout of the house. Breakfast is modest but very tasty. Friendly staff, helpful with everything. Very beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains. There are grocery stores not far away. We bought different Italian delicacies every evening, wine and enjoyed dinner outside on the sofa with a gorgeous view. We are delighted! Hope we come again!

This charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What truly sets it apart is the soul of the place. You can see the love and effort the owners, two wonderful sisters, pour into every detail. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, recommending hidden gems of Tuscany and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the most heartwarming things was meeting other guests who have been returning to this hotel for 15, even 30 years! Their love for the place speaks volumes about the experience. We felt so welcome and at home, and we can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars too. We will absolutely be back!

We spent three days at Casa Flavia and felt completely at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the renovation and the architect’s thoughtful choices. The apartment is truly family-friendly: fully equipped with all necessary appliances, and even European plug adapters were waiting on the shelf. You can arrive with a suitcase and live comfortably for a day, a week, or a month—there is absolutely nothing lacking here. The coffee machine capsules were also very tasty. Highly recommended.

We were fascinated by friendly acceptance and care from the host. Laura reacted immediately on our small problems during the stay. The location of the apartment is exceptional, with the perfect view on the mountains and olive grooves. We stayed in the apartment for three weeks and found it quite comfortable. There is a good transport connection to Florence. Attitude from the local people of the community was absolutely positive, we really felt ourself at home.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautifully renovated mansion. The photos just don;t do it justice! The spaces and decor are truly splendid and elegant, with a soft touch of coziness. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room just right and the bathroom spacious, with a large shower (bigger than usual). We really enjoyed the breakfast served by the owner, with high-quality products and very good Italian coffee. We are also grateful for the parking space provided inside the gated yard. We would come back during a more warmer time, to try the enticing swimming pool or, at least, the outside chairs.

This farm stay is up on the mountain which requires a bit driving, but it worthy of the drive. The room is clean, big, with king size ben. It is high up in the mountain with tranquility and panomrama excellent mountain view with nicely well maintained chateau, it's a pity that we can use the swimming pool, the temperature is too low even it is is open at time of our stay. I have to mention the breakfast, it is the best breakfast in our entire trip in Tuscany, the restaurant chef Giordan Orlando is really an excellent with passion on food, you will definite enjoy the breakfast prepared by him. Also, we have dinner to the restaurant on site, again the food and wine is so good, thanks to Giordan Orlando, we will find chance to return when we visit Florence again !

I loved the location - 50 minutes from Florence by car or 40 minutes by train, the people were friendly - beautiful shops, restaurants, pasticeria ( pastry shop), supermarket (Coop) - everything you need at your fingertips. Everything was within 90 minutes drive to Pisa and Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, Cjhianti region and we even went to Assisi and Spello in Umbria ( 2 hours away but so worth it). For Florence we took the train we parked the car at the train station and the adult ticket is 4 euros one way.

Rufina was not our primary destination.

Rufina was not our primary destination. We were visiting Gricigliano about 20 minutes from Rufina and did not spend much time in Rufina. Rufina has a co-op supermarket, an ATM, and a petrol station so it is handy for those.

It is a beautiful and rustic house in Tuscany! At the top of a hill with absolute quiet and stunning views. The sunsets are amazing by the pool! The staff are absolutely charming and the food extraordinary! We can highly recommend all of the dishes, especially the meat. May it be the different types of pasta, the Tagliata di Manzo, Bistecca Fiorentina or the Filet de Re, once the food embraces your taste buds you feel like god kisses your senses!
