Excellent little hotel. Really spacious rooms. Fantastic continental breakfast. Lots of food options from cereal to cake! Lovely staff. Good location - only a 10 minute walk to the central square/gardens.

Good contact with the host. The terrace with amazing view of the surrounding streets and Chiesa di Santa Maria di Gesù. Air conditioning which can be used as a heating in the winter. In the shared zone some free drinks and snacks, fridge and microwave oven. And the stamp for hikers travelling across the Magna Via Francigena :) Breakfast vouchers which can be used in one of the four bars to choose from.

Very clean, new appartment, big enough for some people inside. Juices, water and coca-cola were waiting in the fridge. Fresh, warm cornettis in the bakery down below outside were included using added vouchers from the owner. So everything was nice and enough.

We had no words for this property, it’s like from a movie. It’s based in a beautiful area under a mountain! We were lucky enough that no other guests stayed at the same time so the entire property was completely empty. Luca, who manages the place is a force of nature and a fantastic host who’s there to ask any questions you may have!

Francisco, Filippo's chef, is exceptional for so small a venue. He varied our menu (3 nights) and asked for our preferences. The Testa family has owned this property from the 16th century and Filippo's love for the land is apparent. Hilly, picturesque views everywhere. Home vinted wines and olive oil. We recommend Tarantola to travelers seeking a farmstay experience. And the owner could not be more suited to his vocation.
