The hotel exceeded my expectations, having read previous negative reviews regarding breakfast, and bedroom comfort. Our rooms were garden rooms with a terrace. Large and comfortable, good air conditioning and large beautiful bathroom. Powerful shower, comfortable bed with extra pillows in the wardrobe if needed. Lovely view of the gardens. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The pool area is super, lifeguard attentive and helped all guests to ensure their beds were in a position of comfort and it was kept very tidy and clean. We found staff, extremely helpful and courteous with lots of local advice on getting around without a car. We took the train (station two minutes from hotel) to Cala Sabina beach, Golfo Aranci town and Olbia. Then travelled on the local bus to Porto Rotundo several times. The main Marinella beach is a 5 minute walk away and was beautiful, with free sun beds and umbrellas for guests. We really enjoyed breakfast, (despite previous negative reviews, therefore I was expecting very little choice) but this was not the case. Always lots of hot options, cheeses, hams, fruit cereal, pastries, breads. It was topped up regularly and it didn’t matter what time you had breakfast the choices were good. The dinner buffet was quite good value for money, but not as high quality as breakfast so we only ate once at the hotel, but instead walked to the small marina where there are several really good local food restaurants.

Amazing stay. Went in May, so wasn't as busy. Gina and Domenico were really friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable and gave us many suggestions to explore...I enjoyed our many conversations, especially when requesting for tea late at night. Gina also sorted out my request for a surprise for my wife on arrival at short notice. Finally, the views are incredible and the beach was a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel. We were upgraded so that we had 2 x adjoining rooms and both had beautiful beach views. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were clean and welcoming. Being so close to the beach was an absolute highlight!

We had a good communication with Alessandro prior our arrival. He also greeted us welcome on arrival and together with his assistant Raffaella we felt very comfortable and good taken care of during our stay. The apartment on the bottom floor with 2 patios is perfekt , comfy beds and fresh feeling about the whole apartment. There is 65 inch TV in every room which could be useful for families with children. Easy to find parking spots just outside for our rental car , although there is a garage under the building.
