Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Stresa! Our room was so quiet, comfortable and charming, and we loved having breakfast delivered to our room and eating out on the balcony with views of the lake. Great restaurants within just a couple of minutes walk of the hotel, and the boat dock to go to the islands was basically across the street. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

The Hotel Giardino is fabulously located in central Arona, on the shore of Lake Maggiore and immediately connected to the historic and elegant shopping zone with multitudes of cafes and restaurants. The service in the hotel is very efficient, good breakfasts, a bar, great views on the lake side, and most usefully, and excellent attached restaurant (I like it more than others in Arona) for which if asked, the hotel will provide 10% discount cards. The selection of restaurant wines is phenomenal. This is not a five star style of hotel, but it is a fabulous place to stay, as I often do.

Ranco is a lovely little town, a great base for exploring the area. Unfortunately, parking is very limited. The ferry landing and the bistro in front of it are excellent.

A destination right on the lakefront, further from the hustle and bustle of Stresa, ideal for relaxation. Boat connections depart from Ranco to the islands. In short, for us, an ideal location because it's so peaceful.

A very quiet, village-like place (just the way we like it). Many attractions are within easy reach (by car or boat). Shopping facilities are also nearby. The hotel was situated in a very peaceful location by the lake. Perfect for relaxation. There was also the option of including spa days at the hotel. Everything was excellent.

Ranco is very quiet; there's not much going on in the town...

Ranco is very quiet; there's not much going on in the town itself. There's a good ferry connection to Arona. We ate twice at the hotel (which was a separate location) and three times in Angena. Pizzeria Damino is a real mass-production operation. You just have to eat quickly, pay, and leave as fast as possible. It's good to get around by car or bicycle. The bus doesn't come very often. I would recommend bringing your own bicycles.

We love this place because of the incredible tranquility it exudes. It's suitable for guests who are still reasonably fit, as it's quite hilly. However, everything is easily accessible by car, provided your vehicle isn't a huge SUV, as some of the streets are very narrow. Cycling is also recommended, but you should either be in good physical condition or have an e-bike.

Very comfortable apartment with good views, lovely balcony, air conditioning, hotel touches like breakfast snacks and shower gel, everything spotless, great location walking distance to beach and coffee/bar/restaurants, functional lobby area in the downstairs apartment, deck chairs to enjoy. Overall this apartment exceeded expectations.
