Perfect place to stay close to Ravenna. Incredibly helpful and nice staff that explained everything and introduced the history of the building, we got breakfast free of charge (absolutely delicious with local products, gluten free and vegan options). Each room is named and styled after one of the plants in the convent's garden. The convent also serves as a cultural center so if you speak Italian, you can even listen to a literary reading, or some music, in the yard. Bagnacavallo is charming and a short drive to both Ravenna and the beaches. Much recommended!

A Gem in Ravenna – Villa Roncuzzi is Pure Perfection Villa Roncuzzi is an absolute treasure. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into an impeccably clean, beautifully maintained space that exudes charm and comfort. Once a historical convent, it has been sympathetically and tastefully renovated, striking the perfect balance between old-world elegance and modern convenience. Every detail speaks of care and quality. Crisp, fresh, white cotton linen is everywhere—on the beds, in the bathrooms, and even in the dining areas. The towels are luxuriously soft, with extra ones thoughtfully offered for the swimming pool. The orangery dining area is absolutely immaculate, with the softest napkins I have ever experienced—an understated yet beautiful touch that makes each meal feel special. The gardens are a work of art—manicured, refined, and enhanced by perfect lighting that makes evenings here magical. Each room feels special, with thoughtful design touches and a unique character. Ground-floor rooms open directly onto the gardens or swimming pool area, adding a sense of privacy and connection to the outdoors. The facilities are accessible to everyone, including guests with disabilities, which makes the property truly inclusive. Breakfast is nothing short of excellent—fresh, varied, and served with care. The hospitable staff make you feel like a valued guest rather than just a visitor, always ready with helpful recommendations and warm conversation. Villa Roncuzzi is also brilliantly located: close to motorways, the Adriatic coast, and well-positioned for exploring Ravenna and beyond. It’s perfect for a summer getaway by the pool, but equally inviting in winter thanks to its cosy relaxation lounge. A rare combination of history, beauty, and comfort, Villa Roncuzzi delivers an unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The property is located about 20 min by car to Ravenna. You can also use near by train station to reach the city. The room was comfortable with nice bathroom and entrance to the balkony and equipped with air condition. There is allocated private car parking place. Check in/out without the problem. The room was exceptionally clean.

This property was truly one of the nicest places we stayed ever. The hosts were incredibly generous and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Every evening, they recommended fantastic local restaurants and even took the time to make reservations for us. Breakfasts were a delight, especially the delicious homemade pastries we looked forward to each morning. We were genuinely sad to leave and only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!
