It was extremely clean everywhere, the whole house smelled really good and they have prepared little gifts for us which was really kind. The host was really helpful and available all the time. The flat has a little garden, our dog was so happy there! The location is perfect, you can explore the city on foot and even visit Switzerland as the border is just 5 minutes by car. We have spent a wonderful time here and plan to come back some other time.

Porto Ceresio is an excellent place, especially for walking on lungolago along the lake, having a low-price and high-quality pizza overlooking the lake and enjoying the sunset. Ship and bus fares are included in the Swiss general ticket. Lack of sidewalks at times especially in the center, pay attention. Splendid Gigante shopping center has everything at low prices and good quality.

It has the charme of bygone days, We were there only for two...

It has the charme of bygone days, We were there only for two days, but the place still captured our hearts. Unfortunately it is a little dirty. We couldn’t go for a swim because there was too much litter at the open access beach. You see the difference once you drive a little further to Switzerland. Still a mysterious place with a hell of a lot potential.

The house is in a quiet village close to mountains and the lake. Being in the house, we can also hear the river flowing by. The house itself is super clean and cosy. Our host also kindly shared with us her delicious home-made biscuits. The only thing I am not happy is we only stayed for one night. It has been a wonderful memory for us.

Porto Ceresio is a lovely little town nestled in a crescent shaped bay within walking distance of a border with Switzerland. There are still a few old buildings and houses that are in dire need of overhaul and renovation but the local council is clearly investing time and efforts to improve infrastructures and local businesses and our take-away was that it's still full of potential! Best place between Ponte Tresa and Riva San Vitale for a promenade and laid back dining.

Cute little tranquile village at the border of the lake. nothing fancy, but nice little restaurants, coffe shps and a great little bakery. A nice small promenade, bought fresh fruits at the local market. the whole atmosphere and location was really attractive. This is of course an off season impression (May).

It's the right standard for easy and laid back living within walking distance of amenities and dining in Porto Ceresio. Very dog friendly hotel close to the lake. Spacious and clean apartment room. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety. We definitely recommend staying here.
