The warm welcome from the hosts was excellent and amazing, going out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The property was perfect for peace and relaxation, with the surrounding garden having seating outside for dinner al fresco or even a barbecue area totally equipped. The house is warm and full of charm, making you feel at home. Highly recommended.

The staff are truly exceptional. Plus the location of course. We arrived off the ferry very early on a Sunday morning. And very stressed due to a large event having closed several roads making the recommended parking almost impossible to get to. But the hotel staff put things right immediately and immediately transformed our stay. Very impressive. And. The hotel itself is lovely.

Can't wait to return. The owner greeted us and the staff were so friendly. Behind the battered entrance lies an oasis. All the guests i met felt the same. From the roof terrace to the bwdroom to the grounds to the indoor heated plunge pool. Nothing could be faulted. Decent restaurant next door. Marina and Buttina museum 7 min walk. Heaven! My only fear is it will get so popular i wont be able to get a room. Thank you so much made our last night in Pallermo so special.

Our stay at Boutique Hotel Porta di Castro was truly unforgettable an experience filled with warmth, kindness and exceptional care. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond for us in every possible way. I was dealing with severe tooth pain during our trip, and the entire team supported us like family. They helped us find a dentist, made phone calls on our behalf, translated everything from Italian to English, arranged appointments, and checked on us constantly to make sure we were okay. The level of care and humanity we received was simply extraordinary. When we arrived early in the morning after a 10-hour ferry ride, they welcomed us with open arms and a beautiful breakfast. Without us even asking, they upgraded our room from a standard room to a suite such a generous and thoughtful gesture. They also prepared our room early so we could check in as soon as we arrived. Every interaction, from reception to management, was full of kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality. The room itself was stunning a perfect blend of modern comfort and the historical charm of Palermo. The building is an architectural gem; anyone who loves culture, art or history will instantly fall in love with it. The location is also perfect: close to everything the markets, historical sites, shopping streets, and even the sea. No matter what you love food, fashion, culture or sightseeing everything is within walking distance. We truly received exceptional service well beyond anything we expected. If we ever return to Palermo, there is absolutely no doubt that this is the place we will choose again. We give it a 10/10 and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo.
