Wonderful hotel! Very clean, great service, strong wi fi, delicious breakfast (cheesecake and chocolate cake are great). I was especially impressed by the care and attentive attitude of staff to the guests of the hotel. There is really a very warm and positive atmosphere) I was satisfied)

Location is 100% perfect for the heart of Piombino. Room was a good size - plenty of space around the double bed, very comfortable bed, decent bathroom. Tiny fridge can fit a bottle of wine too! Staff were great - polite and friendly and the information about wifi and late entry were perfect.

I love the sunset from Populonia.

I love the sunset from Populonia. It looks like a small medieval, or perhaps even Renaissance, village centered around a castle. All of this is built in an area rich in evidence of the Etruscan presence, which was particularly strong in this area due to the iron resource that was mined from Elba and extracted from the ore in the furnaces on Populonia's beach.

There are many cultural and historical attractions as well...

There are many cultural and historical attractions as well as leisure activities (cities like Pisa and San Gimignano are within reach, Populonia Alta and Piombino are worth a visit), Etruscan excavations, beautiful beach coves, and the Buca delle Fate is especially recommended for snorkeling!

Populonia is small.

Populonia is small. I visited on April 23rd on a rainy day, but it was still fascinating. The only downside was that everything was closed and I couldn't visit anything. But I'll be back.

We loved the swimming pool (also a little pool for children) and the playground area. Breakfast was nice. The whole agriturismo is in a very quiet location but close to great beaches (Baratti, Rimigliano) and interesting places (Populonia). We appreciated the possibility to see many animals on the farm. One weekend, the staff served pizza for free.

The areal was really nice, we could play tenis or table tenis for free. You can bring or borrow the bicycle and go for tours. There is a nice swimming pool, market and ice cream shop. The sand beach is near by car. Near the areal is Populonia train station and markets, pizza and caffeteria. We had a very good time.

Fantastic big apartment on 2 levels!!! 2 rooms plus a beautiful underoof room. A great swimming pool, 3 tennis courts, professional bycicle rent service very efficient. We had one day guided bycycle tour and it was great! Very closed to the most important archeological sites of Populonia. Great!!!

Food was great, exceeded expectations. We stayed in and had our meals at the hotel restaurant, because the food was so good. The staff was extremely helpful in planning local activities. The property has lots of history and old vegetation, making the property extremely interesting.
