It was a pleasant surprise - not a room but huge apartment actually, with all appliances you may need ! One can prepare and have breakfast in the room at convenient time - host provides you with pastry, jam, bottled water, yogurt, milk… coffee from the coffee maker was excellent! Parking place in front of the building, with train station few minutes away. Lugano is 25 minutes by car. Highly recommended to explore the lakes area.

Beautiful location on lake and mountains with walkway around lake close by. Easy access to good Asian restaurants and cafes (Jonny's) train and Swiss border. Would book earlier to get better accommodation.

Beautiful border town with Switzerland. Plenty of restaurants, our favorite is Ristorante Dal Pescatore, directly on the lake front. Fantastic service and food. There are plenty of gelaterias and bars, try Johnny's. Plenty of nice walks and activities around the lake. We travel with our bikes and is ideal to get around.

Lovely place close to the most amazing Lugano lake offering quick access to both Italian and Swiss parts of the lake and many nice places like Morcote. We received much larger than expected apartment with own garden, which was a lovely surprise. Hot tub was also a great unexpected addition (available for all guests). Super friendly and helpful staff. Love Lugano lake as it’s very clean, accessible and not overcrowded with tourists like e.g. Como. You can swim in many places.

My second time at this hotel and upgraded to a lake view room this time, which is well worth the extra money. The views of Lake Lugano are stunning. Yes, you can get the views from the terrace, but it’s nice to wake up to the incredible scenery and take it all in on your balcony. The food in the restaurant is superb, and not over-priced. The staff are helpful and friendly and the overall experience was fantastic.

Probably the closest Italian town to Lugano. Very nice and clean. Well equipped, there is also dryer machine. The host left for us a bottle of sparkling wine, pasta + sauce, two bottles of soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling water. Private parking under the house, but it is not big , we had Jeep Renegade that fitted but bigger car may not fit there. There is a supermarket nearby.
