This is an amazing place. I highly recommend Cesare's flat. You will have extremely spacious appartment for yourself with all facilities that you may need during your stay. And you can take a shower with your favourite music in the background (thanks to Alexa system)! We will definitely stay there again during our next trip to Tuscany.

Such an old picturesque town with ancient undertones and modern flare. Some of the beaches were great, picturesque and easily accessible. Just a handful of delightful restaurants and bars so that your not inundated with choices. Vesperos at the marina was most notable for fine dining and bar yamah for great atmosphere and staff.

Piambino was perfect for winding down the last days of a busy vacation. We chose it for the lack of tourists and for an authentic Italian neighborhood experience. What a gem this turned out to be! We stayed just a couple of blocks from the center of the village where we had easy access to the seashore, shopping and the many fabulous restaurants. While there are lots of day trips one can take, our goal was to explore beautiful Piambino itself with its gorgeous views and calm, welcoming community. We quickly became familiar and comfortable with the neighborhood, a great place to explore and relax.

Great location. Great free pool (open until 19, not too deep). Beach 5 min away by feet (elevators), no stones, just sand and warm water. Good seafood restaurants in the proximity. Good rooms, facilities and beds, pillows could be better.

Piombino is a fair location if you drive a car, however, it...

Piombino is a fair location if you drive a car, however, it turned out that it's not the best choice if you want to move around by train, because it's located on a railway side-track, which means that there aren't too many trains to other Tuscan locations. The city has a liverly walking zone, however, it's just one-two streets, and the streets right next to the walking corso is much less attractive (not dangerous though). Also, the local beaches were not too nice. The beach closest to the city centre is very tiny and rocky. Inside Piombino, there are some alternatives, but they are not too easily commutable without a car. There are some really nice beaches if you are up to a 15-25 minutes driving. The city is well equipped, there is a bigger CONAD store, which I liked. Altogether, it's an OK destination is you plan as a basis for shorther Tuscany-trips by car (as we did). The people were friendly everywhere.

Amazing place for people which want to spend time with local people and mainly local tourists. We did not meet many people from other countries, price in restaurants are very "normal", not high like in another more popular destinations. Nice beaches, water in sea in clear and has amazing colours. City is calm but has a great offer for active tourists, is also interesting from historical point of view. Is really worth to make a stop here, not treat Piombino only as a port in way to Elba. This city has a really nice offer. I would like to back here again.

Good location, close to some local beaches. 30 min walk into the old town. The hotel has a small but well kept pool that is really nice. The flat is clean and bright. Location is 100% perfect for the heart of Piombino. Room was a good size - plenty of space around the double bed, very comfortable bed, decent bathroom. Tiny fridge can fit a bottle of wine too! Staff were great - polite and friendly and the information about wifi and late entry were perfect.
