From the beginning it was exceptional. We arrived early and left our bags at the hotel. They brought them to the room when it was ready. The front desk staff was excellent, offering suggestions for restaurants and transportation. The beds were just the right combination of soft and support. I didn't even need a "first night" adjustment to a different bed. Just got a good nights sleep. Breakfast (eggs) were cooked to order and they served the largest croissants I've ever seen. Location was in the heart of the old section close to everything and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Huge selection of good restaurants nearby. There is an excellent restaurant across the road called Il Gabbiano and a sushi restaurant (all you can eat) nearby.

Easily reached from Verona and an interesting place with...

Easily reached from Verona and an interesting place with it's massive Venetian style defensive walls. It has a couple of pretty areas, but there isn't a lot else of historic interest here. Plenty of nice places to eat though, with Osteria Rivelin and Amici Miei Tipicoteca the standouts that we tried. From here you can use the ferries and buses to go elsewhere quite easily - as long as you are relaxed about bus timetables. Theme parks Gardaland and Movieland are pretty close by as well, for the kids. Finally, the people are lovely and friendly everywhere.

Peschiera is a lively town at the edge of Lake Garda.

Peschiera is a lively town at the edge of Lake Garda. It has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. It offers easy access to boat trips, walks and cycle-paths, as well as other lakeside towns. It is ideal for trips further afield as the express trains stop here, allowing day-trip access to Brescia, Verona, Milan and Venice

Peschiera was beautiful, the train was 3.50 euros return from Bella Italia hotel into Peschiera and a time table is provided. The boat trips and ferry trips are very easy to access to visit other towns. We used the bus twice which always ran about half an hour late but still turned up. The staff on reception were also very helpful and organised a taxi for us. Also the staff in the La Chandra were lovely and the food was delicious.

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its...

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its services - supermarkets, fruit and veg shops, delis - and the permanent citizens of Peschiera have put their efforts into restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very pretty town but I feel it is not a real town but a tourist town. In high season the ferries are frequent to visit towns around the lake. The bus service in the area functions but is crowded due to the huge number of tourists.

Very easy to get around & family friendly.

Very easy to get around & family friendly. Loved walking around the lake in early morning. We went in June, it was hot and there were lots of tourists. I would recommend going off season if you're looking for something a bit more intimate and cooler weather. Trampoline near lake was fun for all, rented a boat and drove around the lake, took the ferry to Sirmione for a spa treatment and dinner, went on a 1/2 day bike tour a along the river, which all of us throughly enjoyed and will remember (2 in early 70s, a 50 year old and 15 year old).

Towns keeps the vibe of Garda lake very well, a lot of restaurants and lovely architecture. It is easy to get around and as all places has easy ferry connection to other locations. Big plus for proximity of gardaland and viva safari park - I highly recommend this one, best value for the money so far but book at least half a day and bring good shoes as it is quite a hike.

From the moment the taxi pulls up the view of the lake is stunning. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean, beds made every day and the staff are lovely. The breakfast is delicious and a massive choice and beautiful room to sit in or outside terrace opposite the lake. Perfect location 5 minutes walk from Peschiera Del Garda which is stunning. So close to the ferry terminal which can take you all around the lake and also a 10 minute walk from the train station where you can go to Verona, Venice, Milan etc. A great great hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, with great facilities, everything feels new and done with taste and care. The team was extremely kind and efficient and helped us have a very pleasant stay. Special Kudos to Alessandro who looked after us with so much care🤩. Location is excellent to access a beautiful area of the Garda Lake, including GardaLand 😃🎢. Our room was excellent for family accomodation and we also enjoyed having a fantastic pool on site!

Perfect location in the quiet end of Peschiera del Garda. Very close to Lido Capuccini beach in the lake and walking distance from the busier part of Peschiera with loads of restaurants to choose from. The staff at the hotel were nice and they even made me celebrate my birthday during breakfast. We also had lake view from balcony.
