The property was wonderful - great views to the olive trees and the sea. Very quiet (if you don't mind the sounds of nature; but since you're looking at a property in a countryside, you most likely don't). It was 32+ degrees Celsius (90F) when we visited at the end of June, thus the pool was a real blessing. Yes, there were some bugs in it, but then again - don't expect anything else from an open-air pool. Since we only booked a few days in advance, we got the smallest room, I believe, but it was by far not small - we had plenty space to walk around the bed even with two suitcases lying on the floor (we did not use the wardrobe since we only stayed for two nights). Upon arrival, we found ants on the bathroom window sill. Very polite ants, I must say, since they wee all gone when we got back from dinner and did not get back the next day! :D The sound insulation of the room leaves to be desired - you can hear when your neighbors are coming back and leaving (so you might want to pack in some earplugs), but that's if you really picky. The room was great. The restaurant - even better. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was tasty, the staff very friendly. Since we book for two nights, but due to our rental breakdown were only able to arrive the next day (and booked one extra night since we loved the place), they charged us only for two nights instead of three, which was hugely appreciated. We will definitely come back!

A Masseria is perfect! My days there were wonderful. The place has a magical atmosphere. Truly, it is a special place. The decoration is beautiful, the restaurant's food is amazing, the plants are very well taken care of... everything is impeccable. If you can, spend a few days in this space.

We only stayed in Otranto for a day and a night, and will definitely be coming back! Centro Storico is really nice, and I would like to explore it more thoroughly. The castle is beautiful at night! Otranto would make a perfect location for exploring the southern heel of Puglia.

A comfortable size town to explore on foot.

A comfortable size town to explore on foot. Town, beaches and sea very clean. Host of eateries A place to relax and make return visits. Ideal for young families and adults not looking for nightlife. Restriction of local buses in October onwards.

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas...

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas in the southern most part of Puglia. It is a beautiful place with the warm Adriatic Sea to cool you down after the exertions of shopping and sight-seeing. Restaurants are plentiful but if I was to select one that we loved, it was Retro Gusto. Getting around Otranto is relatively stress free and if you enjoy people watching, then you are in your element in Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto. It's a gorgeous town, one of our very favorites in Italy. It has a leisurely calm that we find appealing, not to say that there isn't also a nightlife. Our favorite restaurant is Balconcino d"Oriente-exceptional food and great people there. Many like the beaches; we love strolling and enjoying the view and atmosphere of this beautiful and historically-rich town.

Lovely. Beautiful beaches and great swimming spots. Beautiful old town with loads of restaurant options. Great base to explore the area from. Highly recommended. Definitely worth having a car though to get out to the beaches nearby such as Laghi Alimini. Lots of little beaches and rocky swimming spots nearby along the coast.

Otranto city itself is not special for us and we had two BAD...

Otranto city itself is not special for us and we had two BAD dinners there - imagine bad pizza in Italy! We much preferred the coastline and beaches in the surrounding area. Would not return to Otranto, will try Santa Maria di Leuca next time and do the coastal path and visit the western beaches.

Beaitiful traditional old farm, offering nice commodities. The breakfast was the best we had in the 2 week road trip around southern italy. Cheeses, cold meats, homemade cakes, all wonderful. The property is just outside Otranto, ideal for visiting the town but also for hiking. There is a small pine forest outside, with wellbeing equipment for cardio. Has a nice restaurant and SPA.

We were so happy we chose hotel Minerva for our day in Otranto which is a beautiful place to visit. The location was excellent close to restaurants and shops. Marco and his staff were very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast which included delicious fresh fruit and gorgeous cakes baked by Marco. Would highly recommend hotel Minerva.

A very friendly host who does its best to keep guests happy. The breakfast is plentiful and includes yoghurt, fruit, toast, pastries...The rooms are a bit dated, but you have everything you need. The accommodation is located on the second floor with no lift, which can be a problem for some guests.

Great staff, fabulous breakfast, we were worried about parking our safely nearby, but the hotel has an amazing deal with Renis carpark just round the corner, super friendly and really safe. And my wife said she had the best manicure and pedicure at the hotels spa

Honestly, this has to be one of the best apartments in Otranto. The location was excellent. The view from the balcony was stunning and it had everything you could need. The hosts were excellent as well.
