We were greeted by our host as soon as we arrived with a smile and the whole place had a very welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation itself left nothing to be desired with evry facility you could expect from your own home with some drinks, snacks and washing products included. Our host also made the effort to recommend us with some fantastic locations in the area to try which we took full advantage of making our short stay feel like a long holiday. With that all said credit still goes to our host himself going out of his way to give us vital advise on local transport knowledge when we were stuck in Rome late at night. I could not recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and comforting place to stay while exploring what the area has to offer, which is a lot. There is immediate access to an acient ruin which is a wonderful place to explore and close to a great beach just 10 minutes away by train for just €1.50. This also has very quick and easy access back into the heart of Rome itself making it the perfect location for everyone.

The host is so helpful. He found a good place to park my car, and I believe the locals helped look after the car ( Belgium hired car) aswell, as the car did not move for the 4 nights we were there. We took the train into Rome central, which is only a 10-minute walk to the station. The area has a lot of history, and the locals are friendly. A supermarket is next to the accommodation.One of the best accommodation rooms I have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Staying at this villa was truly a five star deluxe experience. I’ve stayed in many top tier hotels around the world, but this place genuinely felt like a royal suite not just a room or an apartment. The design, cleanliness, and attention to detail were absolutely world class. Every corner of the villa exuded luxury and comfort. The host was outstanding incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Always checking in (without being intrusive) to make sure everything was perfect or if I needed anything. It felt like having a private concierge on call. We were in Ostia Antica Arcaelogical Park in the begin of the month and we got free tickets. If you want to explore all old city without haste, you need all day. We came at 08.30 a.m., but at 16.30 p.m. was necessary to go away. This old city is amazing. There is a lot good saved buildings and you can imagine very well how people lived, worked and enjoyed many, many years ago. You can touch and feel ancient Roman culture. I really recommend this location for visiting 😀

Ostia Antica Archaeologica Zone was Rome's key port for over 500 years. It is far larger and more historically significant than Pompei but does not have the same level of preservation. Allow three hours to see it well. Take the Shuttle from the entrance to the far end and walk back with the Museum and Cafe as a place to recuperate half way.

Absolutely worth the trip and every penny - at least if you are a history geek and into ancient Rome. It's a massive area! You are going to be surprised at the size of it - pack water, food and sunscreen! Highly recommend audio guide / guided tour as you'll miss important parts and explanations if you don't. It's a lovely area and you can easily spend 4-6 hours at the park if your legs are up for it.

amazing to visit Ostia Antica. However due to its short distance to the airport than Rome, formal taxi drivers refuse to drive and no option to pay with credict card. We have to pay extra to bribe the taxi driver to do us a favour, even through Uber service. They asked us to change the location when we apporached the airport otherwise he did not stop us even when we arrived in the airport....horrible

On second thought, we must add more to our review. We asked before booking about the time to get to the airport(for a very early flight), and the reply was "It only takes 15 minutes and we'll show you when you get here." It seemed okay, so we booked. But, in fact, it was 40 minutes, in just regular traffic. And, the cost was by taxi for 37 euros. We had to run through the airport and arrived at the gate with only 10 minutes to spare!! Very stressful and unfair to us. When it said breakfast provided, we had to prepare it for ourselves. Also, the night before, we were told that the little town had several options for purchasing dinner but the options were closed. The place to buy ticket for the bus was closed, so we walked back the 1 km., maybe more, to get back. The hosts didn't seem to think about this. The kindness nature of the hosts made us accept the situation with good humor and we tried to be positive. However, in hindsight, we were disappointed. Although thee accommodations itself and the hosts welcome was fine, we regret to say we cannot recommend booking here.

Very clean and welcoming hotel with generous breakfast, close to Ostia Antica (walking distance) and the airport (by city bus) as well as the city center (via metro train). Highly recommended.
