We stayed here while walking the Via Francigena and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, and we really enjoyed breakfast at a nearby bar which was included. Antonio was an excellent host, communicative and prompt in meeting us to let us in when we arrived from walking. Well situated for local supermarkets and the Via Francigena route. Overall highly recommended!

The hotel is in a non-descript town in Puglia called Orta Nova. It is where my family is from and I usually stay with them. GAPO Rooms caught my eye as there are not too many hotels in the area so i thought I would give it a try. It is really amazing. Huge rooms, very tasteful decor, friendly staff, a fantastic restaurant and bar - really it was perfect

Lorenzo kindly showed me his farm where mainly olives and grapes are planted. He practices organic farming and explained to me how it works. Also, he gave me a chance to taste freshly squeezed olive oil from his farm. It was really fruity!

Excellent service, helpful. Great location. Nice room, clean. Relaxing saltwater pool/spa. Breakfast was plentiful. 10-15 min walk to train station and of course, Rocco the cat :)
