Ivan was exceptionnally welcoming...it was raining the day I arrived and instead of waiting for the late bus to get to the bus stop after oliena village...he sent me a volunteer to get me from Oliena! It is very nice to discover the inside of the island, and stay more in the mountains; Olinea is a perfect location, as you can still drive to the beach easily if you wish, but stay in a really calm area, with beautiful landscape; close to other things to visite like the Gorropu Canyon, Sorgenti Su Gologone, wine testing, etc; Again our stay at the property Dimora S'Ena Manna was a fantastic base to visit around, or just to relax at the property, depending on the days.

Small town, few tourists. It felt like we were the only tourists here. Interesting architecture, interesting cafes. Very safe town and kind people. There is a big supermarket. Lots of free parking in the area.

Fantastic location, perfect for hiking and exploring the mountains, the views were stunning, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the pizza and local wine was excellent. The hotel was clean and blissfully quiet! We would highly recommend!

It’s a magical place - full of art and colour and beautiful touches! The staff were wonderful and we did the evening dinner experience in the vegetable garden one evening (in the Orto) and we just loved it! Amazing food, yummy wine, friendly staff - we felt like we were with family! … we also loved our room with all the traditional Sardinian touches and a dream balcony with an outdoor bath tub. It was an inspiring place to be - we loved it all so much we booked a second nights stay!

Actually I was staying in Tatta & Nanna Apartment in the strict center of Oliena, since Antiqua Dimora was unavailable. Thanks to effective action undertaken by Host representatives Chaira and Andrea we were accomodated in an alternative location with even better localization: Santa Maria Square near the bus stop. The facility was superb: clean, and comfortable.

The hotel is located above the town of Oliena and offers amazing views over the valley and the mountains. The restaurant has a great food and wine selection. Excellent hiking in the area and close to Tiscali. No problems staying here with our dog.
