Beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the lake! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is a great addition for a nice relaxing morning and evening chill. Staff is very friendly and helpful! We stayed with our doggo and he was also very happy! He even got a surprise present for his last day :)

Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was good—all you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!

We were there at the back end of their season and it was...

We were there at the back end of their season and it was busy. In the high season the traffic could be quite intimidating. Bus daily ticket 5 euros great value for travelling between local towns around the lake. But a well kept private beach with a bar and loungers ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Oggebio is a small village.

Oggebio is a small village. It's situated on a hillside and has a small village shop that sells almost everything. There's a very good restaurant, Albergo Bel Soggiorno, with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. There's free parking at Lake Maggiore, near the bus stop for the buses to Intra and Cannobio.

The holiday apartment with its magnificent view of Lake...

The holiday apartment with its magnificent view of Lake Maggiore was truly unique! We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony every morning. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. We really enjoyed Oggebbio.

A large municipality with many small hamlets.

A large municipality with many small hamlets. Very quiet, with traffic running along the lake. Well-marked walking and hiking trails. A well-documented program for Nordic walkers. Several chapels and churches. A few restaurants, a café, and shops. Recommended for a relaxing holiday. Not really suitable for people with mobility issues.

Steep hillside location, romantic Italian flair, shopping facilities in the village are not ideal, challenging terrain for people with walking difficulties, occasional disturbing dog barking from the neighboring properties. Quiet location and clean, fresh air.

Oggebbio is superbly located, almost in the middle of the lake, and you can get everywhere quickly. The local restaurants offer a genuine local experience and are delicious; the prices are also reasonable. We'd love to come back – thank you!

We are pleased to say, that was a wonderful experience in the Hotel! The place was beautiful and gardens were fantastic!! The staff was friendly and the waitress Laura is one of the best we ever had!! The quality of the food was excellent and we bought olive oil and wine back home. We will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to visit Lago Maggiore!!

Modern and spacious apartment in a truly beautiful residence in Oggebbio equipped with outdoor spaces. We had a very good time both during the key collection and during our stay. The main locations on Lake Maggiore can be reached by car in a few minutes. We will return in the summer to enjoy the pool
