View!!!! A beautyful hotel on the mountain with breathtaking view to the town from rooms with terrace and view to duomo and from the restaurant balcon. There is a roof terrace too!! Incredibe wonderful view!!! There is a very good location to walking all over Modica and driving to Ragusa. Breakfast good, there are salty breakfast too (warm not). Rooms are clean. You can park on the street gratis.

Modica is a very old town on South-east Sicily, quite important for her history and baroque architecture. Getting around is easy, if you like to walk a lot! There are a lot of stairs and climbings to get to Modica Alta, but it's worth. Food is very good and there are still restaurants with good prices. From Modica you can reach the beach in half an hour by car, and you can also visit several good natural spots (like Riserva Naturale di Pantalica, Cavagrande, Vendicari) just driving one/two hours. Good craftwork as well, especially ceramics.

Modica is a must-see if you are visiting the south of Sicily...

Modica is a must-see if you are visiting the south of Sicily. The rich architecture majestically adorns the hills that surround the centre. The quaint streets and stunning views are simply idyllic. We were lucky enough to visit during the Easter festivities which really highlight the spirit of Sicilian culture. You are spoilt for choice with restaurants - wherever you go the food is exquisite and the service is warm and friendly.

Modica is really cleaned and has beautiful big streets. We could visit it just by walking around. Everything was close: shops, restaurants, train station. It's family friendly. Their specialty is the meat chocolate. They have a Bubble Tea shop.

Modica is a good base to visit not only the town itself, but also the other nearby Baroque towns in the area - Ragusa, Noto and other smaller less well-known towns. It is a smaller town and appears to be less busy than the others - parking is easier for example and there is a good urban bus service (Modica is a hill town!).

Itria Modica owner really helped with choice of a restaurant on busy Saturday night. Ragusa Ibla and Modica were both interesting and quite contrasting visits. Particularly loved the hotel....views amazing and pure quality at an affordable price

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist.

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

Giovanni was in constant touch with us on WhatsApp regarding the arrival procedure. He met us on site and helped us move in. Explained the sight-seeing in Modica and nearby towns. Giovanni then showed us where to park our car for free for 2 nights. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and really cool during the warm weather. It is close to the main sights. Best value for money in our 12 day stay in Sicily

We had a great stay at the Modica Boutique Hotel! The staff are very kind, helpful, and responsive. The room was large and modern, the private and secure parking garage is great, and breakfast delicious. We also did not have any problems regarding our very spontaneous accommodation booking.
