My stay at Atlantis Palace Hotel was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The hotel offers a great combination of comfort, quality service, and a fantastic location close to the beach. We had the pleasure of staying 4 nights here. The customer service was exceptional. Special shout out to Massimo. No request of ours was to too much hassle. The staff are lovely people. The rooms were clean, functional and as described. The value for money is great. The shared balcony is a fantastic area to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. The location was fantastic. We loved the included breakfast and coffee each morning, as well as the option to hire bikes to get around. The restaurant also offers a fabulous view of the Fondachello ocean and has phenomenal food, especially the pasta and bruschetta. When we return to Sicily we will be staying again.

This is a wonderful apartment. It would be more correct to say that it is a part of the house. A great place to feel how the locals live. In life, everything is much better than in the photos. There is all the equipment (even an air grill and a dryer), there is a small garden inside the house. All the furniture, dishes and equipment are new or in very good condition. You can park your car for free near the house. The owners are a family. On the day of our arrival, they gave us a local fruit - a huge sweet Sicilian lemon. They are very kind, ready to help with any questions. Every morning they brought us breakfast. In addition to breakfast, there was a small additional treat - marzipan or chocolates. The hostess asked what we wanted to see and tried to help with any questions. It seemed that we were not tourists, but relatives of the owners who came to visit them. The town is very quiet, the sea is close, it is very convenient to get to Catania, Taormina, the outlet or the volcano Etna. The hosts are friendly to guests. Our dog was given a special bed, which he really liked. We subsequently had to buy one for our house. If we had to go to Sicily again, we would choose to stay in this house.

The perfect place to stay in Sicily. Dipladenia Garden is a dream place. Couldn't fault it in any way. The staff is very friendly and helpful, very nice and very clean. Nice breakfast bar as well. There is plenty of parking at the property and lots of sunbeds around the swimming pool. This is a 5-star property.

Mascali itself isn't that nice a village, BUT the Decime - albeit being part of Mascali - is situated in the middle of the countryside, an extremely nice position, and, second, the nearby villages, Giarre and Fiumefreddo, are very pleasant and really worth visiting.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff but located in a residential area that had seen better days. All the beaches had volcanic sand which isn't pleasant to walk on or lay on. The sea was quite rough and you would have to be a very confident swimmer to enter the water.

We were in Fondachello and we really enjoyed restaurants...

We were in Fondachello and we really enjoyed restaurants bars and the beach. However, the place is not really looked after very well by the local council. It is a shame as it has great potentials to become a top tourist spot

Our hotel was placed in between Mascali and Riposto.

Our hotel was placed in between Mascali and Riposto. We never went to Mascali but to Riposto. It’s old and run down. Whole town appears to close for siesta - check times before visiting. There is a faded charm to the town and a good long beach with some decent restaurants. Amazing views of Etna - it’s so close we had ash settle on our clothes while sitting outside.

A dead town without taxis, without shops.

A dead town without taxis, without shops. Only two small mini markets, everything else closed (pharmacy, butcher). The city is probably only for summer guests. But the sea is beautiful and clean. Great LIDO PALM BEACH that I recommend.

Easy process to get the keys. The hosts live next door. The house is fully equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is very silent during the night, you do not hear anything. It is close to Mascali city centre, next to supermarket, café and restaurants. There are parking spots in front of the house. It is located close to Mount Etna, Taormina and Catania, it is easy to drive to different destinations each day.

A new little hotel. Pristine facilities and comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our breakfast (and the picnic breakfast provided when we needed a early start for an Etna Hike). It is a peaceful haven with lovely views of the mountain from the pool and garden

Staying in Mascali was interesting to see another side of Italy away from tourists. Amazing wood fired roast chicken and chips just nearby. Overall the accommodation okay but lacking some attention to detail. Easy checkin overall. Cheap price. Bathrooms and bedroom were clean.
