Ideal farm location surrounded by nature! The beach is a 15-minute walk, but it can be done faster by bicycle, which is included in the price. Everyone is welcome here, especially four-legged friends; we were with a cat! The room is bright, clean and cozy, colorful. There are places for cars under a canopy. I got the impression that I had come to people whom I had known all my life. It was so emotional. And it was very sad to leave. The restaurant evening meal isn't cheap but on our 1st visit the meal was fabulous, along with the service, which prompted us to book a 2nd night's meal there.... That wasn't so great, just as expensive but we were only able to choose from a much smaller menue, 4 starter dishes, only 2 main dishes, and a choice 3 desserts ! And sadly it wasn't great. However the breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, including tea,coffee and fruit juice on tap. The hotels pool, and pool bar/ coffee shop was fantastic. The room was nice, airy and relatively clean. The only exception being the rooms floor which was never cleaned/moped during our stay, which left us going to bed with dirty feet onto clean sheets. We were on a driving holiday, and parking around the hotel was an issue, however we had booked to park in the hotels underground car park, for the security of our vehicle and it's contents. The downside is the €15 per day charges, which added €75 onto our end bill.

It was a nice facility close to the beaches. There is a great gelato shop right across the street. It was quiet and very relaxing stay. As in all Italian cities there are lots of pizza restaurants. We did find a very quaint and nice restaurant within walking distance that was very enjoyable and very unique called Lo Scacciapensieri. We enjoyed our stay very much

Reminiscent of some fascist structures! The rotunda, the Hotel Leopoldo, the convenience of the beach and visiting archaeological sites, as well as greenery, parks, and vast forests, with cycle paths ideal for horseback riding.

A beautiful town, well-equipped.

A beautiful town, well-equipped. The beaches are very welcoming and clean. One thing I didn't like was the seafront. It's a lovely avenue for an evening stroll, but you don't get a sea view due to the many beaches.

A small town, but with everything you need.

A small town, but with everything you need. Very suitable for families with children, it's quiet, yet offers a wide range of dining options, from fast food to medium-high quality (we recommend La Rotonda for breakfast, sunset aperitifs, or a seafood dinner). Excellent opportunities for nature excursions in the area.

I really enjoy the coexistence with nature that I find in Marina di Grosseto. The people are friendly, too. What saddens me is that there isn't a pedestrian or bike path to cross the river. It would be appropriate for the municipality to create one for everyone's safety.

We had a memorable experience staying at this hotel. Although it took around 30 minutes to reach the hotel from Grosseto train station by bus, the journey was pleasant and well worth it. The check-in process was efficient and hassle-free, allowing us to settle in quickly. The highlight of our stay was the spa, which provided a much-needed relaxation after all our travelling. . Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the beach was a major plus. Our room was comfortable and provided a peaceful retreat.

On arrival the owner (Marco) was super helpful and friendly and not only showed us around but also shared information about local areas, there isn't much around the hotel itself but it is situated in a beautiful area. Do bare in mind that it's worth booking the restaurant opposite for food as it gets busy and was unfortunately full when we arrived. Other than that it's great for 1 night ( what we had done ).

So, a big compliment to the cleaning staff!! - Friendly people - Very nice warm and strong shower - The breakfast is minimal and not at the hotel (2 minutes’ walk). It’s a minimal continental breakfast, but okay (nothing more or less).
