This little place in the south of Sardinia is a beautiful. We stayed here for 4 nights and we basically had the place to ourselves. The breakfast was always great, all freshly made omelettes, fruit, fruit juice and cakes. The pool is a god send with the heat. The fresh produce is fantastic and they use all their own produce from their farm. The rooms are large and clean. I love the fact that they facilities are used by the local communities and they are able to bring everyone together. Our kids loved the cats and dogs on the farm also. It was a little solace time for the family to breathe and just relax. Great hospitality and great local farm wine and food.

We received a very warm welcome from Agostino, who even made us tea on arrival. He also recommended the nearby fabulous agriturismo, Le Vigne Ducali, for what turned out to be a wonderful evening meal. We had very nice breakfasts each morning. Agostino's wife kindly drove is to the station to catch the Trenino Verde. Their hospitality was superb.

Without doubt, Antonella and Paolo have hospitality down to a fine art. We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted with such warmth that we felt immediately at home. Our room was comfortable and just perfect for us - and the view from the terrace was glorious, especially on the golden, late Spring afternoon when we arrived. The location is superb and within easy reach of other towns and villages. The beautiful dinner that our generous hosts prepared was authentically Sardinian - home grown and home made, or locally sourced - and all fresh and delicious.

We had an incredible experience staying at Umberto's guesthouse in Selegas. The property is truly spectacular—an old country house steeped in history, once home to the countess of the region. The stone house has been beautifully restored, with the former granary now transformed into a charming kitchen and living space spread across two levels. Umberto is an exceptional host, always kind and attentive, especially with our 12 year old son. He went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from groceries to sightseeing tips. We spent wonderful moments together, chatting and playing cards—truly unforgettable. Selegas is a peaceful village in southern Sardinia, just a 30-minute drive from Cagliari Airport. We explored several stunning beaches along the southern coast, visited nearby archaeological sites, and found the local people to be very friendly. Our snorkeling adventures and a day trip to an island on the southwest coast were highlights of our stay. Thank you, Umberto, for being such a lovely host and making our stay so special.
