The studio/house was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – a perfect home away from home. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying, with enough variety to start the day right. Parking right in front of the property was very convenient, and the swimming pool was a real highlight – clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Overall, a lovely place to stay and one I’d happily return to.

Very pleasant room with great shower and comfortable bed. Lots of parking space for cars and a covered area provided for motorbikes - thanks! Staff were very pleasant and spoke good English which we appreciated. Breakfast was covered with a voucher for a nearby cafe which was delicious! Lake Magione is close by and is very picturesque. The local town has a good selection of restaurants - we ate in Al Sottobosco which was excellent.

We had the most wonderful two weeks at La Casa di Campagna, hosted by the warm and welcoming Mara and Massimo at their idyllic Umbrian farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff were always so friendly, smiley, and ready to help, which made us feel immediately at home. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the communal lounge area with its handy shared fridge and coffee maker. The property itself is spacious and beautifully kept, with a gorgeous swimming pool, plenty of loungers, and quiet corners throughout the gardens that are perfect for relaxing with a book. The restaurant was a real highlight – the food is absolutely outstanding, with traditional regional Italian dishes full of flavour, lots of variety, and delicious daily specials. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a plentiful buffet and the option of freshly cooked eggs and bacon. All in all, La Casa di Campagna is not only a wonderful place to stay, but also perfectly located for exploring Umbria, Lake Trasimeno, and Tuscany. We truly loved every moment of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Brilliant views from the pool and most rooms. Very nice atmosphere and good restaurant. We really enjoyed our evening meal - the outside patio is romantic and the place full. Good, local produce and wines.

The apartment in the olive grove with its large pool was perfect for a relaxing 10-day stay. Its convenient location allowed easy access to many interesting sights, including Perugia, Deruta, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno, and excellent restaurants serving Umbrian specialties.

Very beautiful place, stunning views.

Very beautiful place, stunning views. It's difficult to get there due to the dirt road and the last stretch being unlit. The rooms are quite dark, windowless, and have a French door at street level, offering little privacy. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of variety. The restaurant is good, but with limited options and quite expensive. Definitely expensive for what it offers.

A great place for a family vacation.

A great place for a family vacation. The food is classic: torta al testo. Be careful when dining at lakeside restaurants if you're outdoors. Insects abound (they don't bite, but they are a nuisance). Lunch is best, or you can enjoy a protected meal on the veranda.

The apartment is in a somewhat isolated rural area, but obviously this offers the advantage of lots of greenery and tranquility and in the end it is easy to reach the various cities of Umbria within 15/20 minutes and the essential services supermarket/restaurants are less than 5 minutes away in the nearby village of Mantignana.

The wonderful atmosphere of an old villa with interesting interior design... The most important point is the amazing hostess, Irene. Very friendly and hospitable, sociable, ready to help with advice (parking in Perugia, local attractions, etc.). Every morning she pampered us with a special hot dish for breakfast and each time with truffle, having learned that we love it)). High recommendations!

The stay at Villalago Trasimeno was simply fantastic. The hotel runners - Paula and Michele - are trying to make your life better all the time, and there is no problem they cannot solve without stopping being nice. The house and the swimming pool are being kept meticulously clean. The food here is delicious, as you expect from a hotel in Italy.
