Beautiful little gem in a great location no 5 walking minutes from Lido S.M.E.! Even though it was renovated only recently, it fully kept it's 19th century charme. The rooms (and especially the showers :-)) weren't the biggest as you would expect from a mansion that has been converted to a hotel, but don't let that scare you as this hotel has something that no other one has: a view over northern Lido from a small tower-lile structure up on the building that is freely accesible from where you can also see the main islands! Plus the staff and owners were amazingly friendly: I asked them if we could have a birthday cake for one of our daughter's 9th birthday the day before her birthday and they baked a full-flegded cake in the shape of the number 9 just a day after! :-O We were all pretty amazed to say the least! So long story short: highly recommended for a stay in Venice away from the crowded main islands! Thanks again for your hospitality, hope to see you again soon! :-)

I booked a single room, but when I arrived I was told that I have been upgraded to a double room, free of charge. That was a first nice surprise about this hotel. I liked the old fashioned design of this place, which gave me a feeling of travelling in time, back to days when opulent style was in fashion. My stay was very comfortable. This is a very quiet place, conveniently located close to Lido centre and ferry. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very clean hotel with good service and very good breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need. The hotel is not in Venezia, but in Lido - Venezia (a small island nearby with a ferry or vaporetto), but we prefered that. It is very charming and quiet small island with nice restaurants. We enjoyed much more than busy old center of Venice.

The room with the large balcony was great, a good place to relax after a long day. The food was good, a little bit lacking in variety. The entire hotel is clean, although the bathroom could be renovated and shower curtains replaced with new one. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were replaced with fresh ones.
