Really pleasant friendly owner who runs this family run hotel on a day to day basis who went out of his way to be helpful. I enjoyed the stay so much that I booked in for some extra time. Aircon was quiet and worked well. A must in the high summer temperatures. Really interesting old building. Sansepolcro is a lovely quiet town with lots of interesting buildings, museums, shops, friendly people and really nice food. Local coop supermarket provides a great range of local food and there are several smaller food shops in the town itself. Cafes and restaurants abound in the town. I would go back to Hotel Oroscopo again any time if I could.

Wonderful location with views all round. Well kept grounds, pool, restaurant terrace and very well restored buildings. Food very good and generous portions. A very relaxing place to spend all day by the pool but also great base for sightseeing.

We spent the night in a room inside the main house. We were very satisfied. The village where the housing is located is nothing special. The homestead itself, the courtyard, the house furnishings, fragments from different eras and details in the interior are interesting and valuable. Every piece of wall, detail of interior decoration is filled with time and history. Lots of cute decorations, old stuff. Only there was no ghost. It was quiet at night, we slept well. Breakfast was delicious, served in a spacious living room. Wifi worked normally.

The room was great: spacious, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the main attractions. Breakfast exceeded expectations, with a great variety and even the option to order a cappuccino (contrary to earlier reviews that mentioned only filter coffee). This was better than expected. We expected a hostel but it has ensuite rooms and even provides toothpaste and toothbrushes. The place is a bit dated but very clean and has a great rooftop terrace. The proprietor was unable to provide breakfast herself but had made arrangements with a local cafe which opens at 6.00am. Perfect for our early morning start.
