3rd attempt as it keeps going blank. When you get older, you wish to retire to a nice seaside spot. That is how I can describe this place. Friendly people and more coffee shops you can poke a stick at. You have a main road from the station that is the heart of the town right to the seafront, which is a very pleasant walk. There is a self-service laundrette that sits in the rear of the petrol station, and you will need soap and instructions are in English. There is a supermarket that the accommodation is on top of, very handy to buy soap. The apartment is so nice with shutters and double glazing, so you don't get woken too early by traffic of which there is minimum and the sun. 30 secs walk from the seafront. Across the road, some fruit and veg stalls operate and Saturdays a large market. The room was superb, spotlessly clean, and a good supply of cake and biscuits with a coffee machine. There are only 3 rooms, so there is nothing much in the way of disturbance. This has to be the nicest place I have stayed.

The accomadation was very clean and spacious,the host was amazing and very helpful. It is located in the middle town so you can access everything by foot. There is free parking located outside the place and a bonus is it is located next to a lovely beach and right opposite to the property is a market with delicious fruits and vegetables. We enjoyed the beaches and the laid back atmosphere of the town. We went to Rome a couple of days, but just being in a smaller town and walking on the beach was lovely! We ate gelato and pastries from Helamani which was delicious!! We had seafood pasta at El Chucharrito which was good. We also enjoyed Torre Flavia Ruderi, the tower on the beach. There were people kite surfing there and you could see the mountains in the distance. The train is convenient and walkable to most places in Ladispoli we wanted to go.

Small town - easy to drive around. Convenient. WHY stay in ROME - and fight traffic. Stay here, on the beach, take the TRAIN in (8 Euro all day pass - train to/from Rome, bus, subway - all included).

I have returned to Ladispoli after over 20 years - in my teens I spent some memorable summer holidays there, as my relative used to live in Ladispoli. This is a typical commuters town, so do not expect crowds of tourists! This means that you have an opportunity to enjoy shopping and eating out with locals - so, the quality of food is great and prices reasonable. Beautiful, black-sanded beach to relax on after sightseeing Rome. For more active - there is a sport centre where you can hire some watersport equipment or book lessons. Alternatively, you can enjoy miles of walks along the beach! For ancient history fans - check out the "next door town" of Cerveteri with its world-famous Etruscan museum and necropolis. And Rome - it is only 30-40 min by train. Highly recommended if you do not mind to commute a bit to Rome.

Small but delightful hotel on the coast with its own beach area (payment required). Rome is around 40 minutes away by train from the nearby train station. Good choice of breakfast and outside evening dining, if required. Near to plenty of amenities.

The flat was really clean and well placed for a great supermarket. It was fairly close to the beaches and centre of town, and communication with our host was easy and very helpful.
