Everything! La Dolce Casetta exceeded our expectations in every way! Alessandro went out of his way to make our stay perfect! Ready to bake croissants we're left for us, with another assortment of packaged pastries. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, a clothes washing machine as well. Borgo Castell Savelli is a very nice place to stay. It is out of Rome at Grottaferreta however it is easy to reach from city. Region is very green. If you like a quite place Borgo Castell Savelli is where you should stay. Room was well decorated, all the furnitures were new and functional, had a kitchen with all the stuff, cutlery etc., had a balcony where you can sit, eat an relax. Room was very clean and was being cleaned everyday. All management team were very nice people. Specially Sara helped and guided us about using public trasnportation options. Grottaferrata is also nice place to visit and do daily shopping which you can access in 20-25 minutes by walk. As a summary; Borgo Castell Savelli is more than perfect place to stay.

We need a car.

We need a car. The towns, sites and restaurants were excellent. We loved staying at the Tenuta Cusamano. We enjoyed touring the nature/archaelogical site of Tuscolum over the weekend when the ruins are open to the public. we did not see another American in 5 days.

Grottaferrata is a very small town.

Grottaferrata is a very small town. I was there for work but I had time to walk around and see a bit. There is the Monastery of Santa Maria that dates back to 1024 with a beautiful church inside that is worth a visit. There is a museum but it was closed when I visited. I thought I would have a harder time finding parking but it wasn't too bad. For a great meal try La Casina del Buon Gusto. The chef's specialty was buonissimo and the prices are excellent. Avoid the Ristorante da Leo. Overpriced and not very good. There is a Fresco Market grocery store within walking distance of the downtown area which has just about everything, including American Hershey's for some reason!

Gorgeous! We loved staying here. It was very chilled and everyone who worked there was warm, friendly, and laid back (in a good way!) so we felt we could really relax and find our own pace. No starchiness or corporate vibes. We didn’t have a car but it was no problem we got around with taxis, Uber, and free shuttle bus. A great place and lovely part of Italy to explore.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful with easy check out/in. The breakfast was also very charming and varied. We had a nice time exploring the nearby towns because of its location. The hotel also welcomed and accommodated my dog - always very appreciated.

Such a beautiful place to stay! The facilities are second to none and the rooms are spacious. There is everything that you need in the mini villas and a private outside space. The hotel is set up like villas rather than a hotel, so just something to bear in mind.

Everything! This is a great little hotel and the staff couldn’t do enough for us: so kind and helpful. It was my partner’s first visit to Italy, and this was a great start: lovely, clean, comfortable room and a superb breakfast.
