The breakfast was good. It was a bit more on the sweet end of the spectrum than we were used to in more Germanic countries. There was a large range of options most people should be happy. The staff were very friendly and professional. They took us on a tour of the church that is attached to the convent. It is well worth the visit. It's not big but the restoration has been done well. The convent has been superbly converted to a hotel and they haven't cut corners. The beds are very comfortable and the place is spotless.

Sousa is a small Italian village near the French Border. Great for a last night in Italy. The village has all the shops and facilitues you can expect. Car Parking is good. The staff at tthe hotel make you feel very welcome and cannot do enough to assist. Staff reccomended and excellent local Trattoria. Rooms and bathrooms excellent. Breakfast good for Italy

I booked this room for my father, and it lived up to expectations, we were given a better room, it was very clean with nice views and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel owner was super nice and also left him coffee and croissant for breakfast. 100% recommendable
