This was by far the best value for money I’ve experienced in a long time. The apartment is beautifully decorated – minimalistic yet modern – with thoughtful design touches like the Philips lighting that created a cozy, even romantic atmosphere. It’s cozy, spacious, and feels like home the moment you walk in. The kitchen is super well equipped, the bathroom has everything you need, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable, giving us the quality rest we hoped for. The place is set a bit outside the city center, but it’s only a 5-minute car ride away, so no sweat at all. Plus, Gorizia has plenty of parking available for visitors in the city center, and the free parking spot at the apartment was one of the main reasons we considered and booked the place. Finally, Dean was an amazing host – responsive, available for any questions, but never intrusive. It truly felt like I had a local friend on speed dial, which made exploring Gorizia so much easier. All in all, an amazing stay that exceeded all our expectations.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot. The older part of downtown is well kept. The downtown area offers plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I think it is good for about two or three leisurely days. There are a few sites to visit and Slovenia is close by. We ate at Peperino(excellent food and an attentive staff) and La Chincaglieria(sp?)(food and wine were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly). Overall, I would visit again.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem. It has history, shopping, restaurants and a great location adjacent to the Collio Goriziano wine region, with numerous producers of excellent wines. Mountains, forests, beach resorts and the Adriatic Sea are all within a short drive. Slovenia is right next door.

An excellent hotel, the staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are so comfortable and cozy, you just feel like you are staying n your bedroom at home. All is spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, a 7 minute walk to the train station, and a more or less the same to the city centre. There are restaurants at a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and a supermarket at a 1 minute distance. The wifi connection is strong and stable. Highly recommended.

We were traveling to Gorizia for Classical Guitar Competition and we were searching accommodation which is walking distance to city center. Best Western Gorizia Hotel is the place. Hotel is not modern but it is clean, has good breakfast, has free parking space and it is walking distance to everything in Gorizia. One of best pizza/pasta restaurants is next to the hotel. I would say it is good value for money.

10 out of 10! The apartment is spacious, very stylish and very well equipped! You are in for a treat! The location is very good and you can easily reach the centre and sights by walking. Antonella the host has really made sure to provide a holiday experience for her guests! She is responding to any questions and very helpful. We had a great time in Gorizia.
