It is located out of the busy town but close enough to reach it by foot or on a local bus. You are surrounded by country site with views over the hills and lots path ways around, suitable for bikes too. I was walking there every evening when the temperature was cooler, the sunset was spectacular. I have chosen this accommodation because of the distance to Slovenia and Solcano, as I was visiting some WW1 sites. There is also The walk of peace near by. The breakfast was exceptional. You would have a choice of eat/shop for a food in Italy or Slovenia, as it takes only fw minutes to cross over. There is also a garden which is a little gem. when you can sitting and relax. It is a perfectly safe place for a single traveller. I loved everything about this place. If you like nature this would be a place to stay.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot.

Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot. The older part of downtown is well kept. The downtown area offers plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I think it is good for about two or three leisurely days. There are a few sites to visit and Slovenia is close by. We ate at Peperino(excellent food and an attentive staff) and La Chincaglieria(sp?)(food and wine were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly). Overall, I would visit again.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem.

Gorizia is an undiscovered gem. It has history, shopping, restaurants and a great location adjacent to the Collio Goriziano wine region, with numerous producers of excellent wines. Mountains, forests, beach resorts and the Adriatic Sea are all within a short drive. Slovenia is right next door.

Breakfast was nice with fresh bakery. I loved the room, it was very cosy, comfortable and super clean. The location was excellent. Hostess Mariana was the sweetest hostess you can ever imagine. I would return to Gorizia only because of this lovely B&B.

Very nice and calm apartment in the city center. The host is very supportive and replied to all our wishes, be it early check in or extra coffee capsules. We only can recommend to stay here and Yusuf the lovely cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica.
