Everything about our stay has been perfect, we loved every minute of it! The hotel is gorgeous and super clean, breakfast was delicious. The view from our room was amazing. Francesco has been our host, very friendly and helpful. We loved the free shuttle: we walked around to different places and got picked up by Raj, what a luxury! The price we paid for our stay is very reasonable, considering the location and the great service they provide.

The view over the harbour and the sea is just amazing! The sunset is lovely to see and the entire island is overall a great experience for people who like to come to rest or to hike (or walk the dog). Probably also a great diving experience, but I'm not sure if January would be the best time of year then. For us, it was perfect because everything was closed and it really felt like we had the entire island to ourselfs. The communication with the hosts went very well. Informative, kind and flexible to meet our wishes. Would definitively recommend. Final tip: They offer a discount with the ferry. Book the destination first and the ferry later. We did it the wrong way around.

Giglio Island is wonderful.

Giglio Island is wonderful. We toured it all on our scooter, very comfortably. The only downside is the seagulls that steal food both on the beaches and in the streets. The municipality needs to intervene!

Besides being enchanting, the location at the port is strategic for the nearby beaches, for access to various optional services (for example, we rented 2 electric bikes) and for the choice of good food.

The port is very pretty, with very clean water and several restaurants overlooking the harbor. In the evening, it's very lively due to the many restaurants. The restaurants, which mainly serve seafood, aren't cheap. I enjoyed some dishes, but others weren't entirely satisfying.

The opportunity to stroll pleasantly, car-free, around the...

The opportunity to stroll pleasantly, car-free, around the port with all its amenities. Among the various restaurants, I'd recommend L'Antica Pergola and avoid the Doria restaurant, which offers overly elaborate dishes that ruin the quality of the ingredients. I'd recommend the bakery near the ferry dock, whose name I don't remember, which uses only sourdough starter.

From the ferry, you can see a small cluster of colorful houses. You disembark and are greeted by a small village of shops, bars, and restaurants. In a small plot of land, there's a greengrocer, a church, an ATM, a pharmacy, and a tobacconist—all within easy reach. A true gem!
