We have been amazingly welcomed by the host which from the very beginning helped us to make our stay incredible, and enjoy an home away from home atmosphere. Really pleasant friendly owner who runs this family run hotel on a day to day basis who went out of his way to be helpful. I enjoyed the stay so much that I booked in for some extra time. Aircon was quiet and worked well. A must in the high summer temperatures. Really interesting old building. Sansepolcro is a lovely quiet town with lots of interesting buildings, museums, shops, friendly people and really nice food. Local coop supermarket provides a great range of local food and there are several smaller food shops in the town itself. Cafes and restaurants abound in the town. I would go back to Hotel Oroscopo again any time if I could.

This was better than expected. We expected a hostel but it has ensuite rooms and even provides toothpaste and toothbrushes. The place is a bit dated but very clean and has a great rooftop terrace. The proprietor was unable to provide breakfast herself but had made arrangements with a local cafe which opens at 6.00am. Perfect for our early morning start.

The place is wonderful. Overlooking the valley, you can stay in a carefully restructured old summer villa. The hosts are very welcoming, the room I had was enormous, clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent - you can get both a sweet and (asking) savoury one (made fresh for you). The swimming pool is great to properly swim, and the surrounding are lovely.
