La Corte del Gallo is perfectly placed if you want easy access to Malpensa airport, and is also close enough to Milan Central for an easy trip into town. The accommodation was very comfortable and great value – we had a large apartment with large bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, lounge room, and access to the laundry (which is handy after many weeks of travelling!). Niccoló and the other staff were very helpful and accommodating. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

The communication with the host was not only easy and fast answered, but very kind and polite. The neighborhood is so cute, the location is definetely a selling point, but the flat... Hard to tell, it went far beyond my expectations, it is really this kind of places that the picture doesnt do so much justice with the real thing. It's chic, elegant, very well decorated, high quality materials, perfect lighting, a charming balcony, the restroom is a 5 star-hotel icon. I had to stay one night because I missed my connection at Malpensa Airport, but this place made this night the best one from my whole trip. 100% recommended!

Gallarate is a small town near Malpensa Airport.

Gallarate is a small town near Malpensa Airport. It is only a short drive (approx 1 hour) to Lake Maggiore and also Lake Como. Best to take the autostrada to Como as the toll charge is very small. There are also other small towns nearby that are worth visiting, e.g. Novara and Vercelli. There is a railway station that connects through to Milan.

Just a 1-night stay, last minute booking as part of adjustments following flight cancellation and late night arrival with next day flight. We were so exhausted but check-in was nice and easy and the breakfast the next morning was very good.

There are nearby parks, shops, restaurants. Not an old historic town, but certainly not suburbia. With a car it's just fine. I've stayed here many times after arriving at or before departing from Malpensa.

Huge disappointment.

Huge disappointment. The apartment that I was ordered was not available due to technical reasons. I was informed about that only when I reached the original address and the host offered us an alternative apartment. The other apartment was farther from the train station (we have to go for 20 minutes with little children), didn't have air conditioning and had 2 levels with many stairs. The apartment was not clean, especially the bathroom where we found a dirty bath sponge that someone left. I have to mention that the host was nice and offered us 20% discount but our last day in Italy was ruined.

Great place to stay and very close to the train station. The staff are friendly and kind and the breakfast is amazing! Very nice with loads of options. Room is quite small but all you need if you’re travelling to the city centre every day. The beds are super comfortable and clean. You can find great restaurants on a 10min walk (easy walk!) and there’s a supermarket if you want to try some Italian treats very close to the hotel. Very pleasant stay but the breakfast and the staff are really the stars.
