We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning 16th-century Airbnb, which has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated to blend historical charm with modern luxury. The aesthetics are absolutely beautiful, original stone walls, elegant decor, and cozy yet sophisticated touches throughout the space. We stayed in the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has been considered, from the high-quality linens and well-equipped kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms and thoughtful amenities. The host truly thought of everything. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool. The host was amazing, warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He met us on arrival, gave us a full tour, and explained everything we needed to know. The little touches that they have added throughout our stay made a big difference and showed how much care and pride they take in hosting. The property is perfect for larger groups or two families traveling together, as you can rent out the entire place. We can't recommend this place highly enough, an exceptional experience that blends history, comfort, and hospitality in the best possible way

The bedroom was upstairs contrary to the description stated entire unit on ground floor. Couldn’t take our suitcases upstairs. Also, there was no landmark or city view except cross street neighbor. Description didn’t really match the accommodation. Cafes and restaurants were in close vicinity with fresh food.

Nice little town in Puglia, straight in the center of the...

Nice little town in Puglia, straight in the center of the Italy's "heel" which enables you to get to any side of the coast (east, south, west) within 30 minutes by car. This is especially handy do get away from the wind, meaning you can always pick the beach located opposite from the where the wind is coming from to get better weather. There are plenty of nice small restaurants, a lot of them run by family, which gives it an extra touch.

A city with surprising monuments.

A city with surprising monuments. Good shopping, though it's a shame the theater has been turned into a business. An air of 19th-century elegance, now in full revival and recovery, is well worth a visit.

Culture, tradition, pasticciotti! Stunning churches, Santa Caterina a gem, plenty of tradition with the well of San Paolo, delicious pasticciotti, many places in the historic center and beyond. A few kilometers away, a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci museum in Galatone.

The town is nice and well-kept, unlike many other unsightly towns (in my opinion, Nardò is unsightly!!!). It's very lively, full of places to dine, but also places of cultural interest (in the town center alone, there are 11 churches that can be visited for free).

I planned my trip for a long time, and luckily could find the best place for our stay. The site is in a perfect location to discover Salento and its beautiful beaches and has proximity to Galatina, a truly hidden gem of the region. The hotel itself is superb, the team is extraordinary, we received all the help to make our vacation perfect. I will definitely miss the afternoon chills at the pool with my perfect Campari spritz...

The apartment was perfect for relaxing and working with a well furnished roof top terrace. Galatina is a great little town and this apartment had good local facilities nearby (supermarket and launderette) while remaining within easy walking distance of the centre.
