The most beautiful property, in a lovely little village. Honestly the pictures online don’t do it justice. Our room was immaculately clean and comfortable. You can tell straight away so much care and love has been poured into this place. The staff (Lorena and Matteo) could not of been nicer, and were there to help with anything you need. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip in Europe. We did a wine tour with the owner of the hotel, which was so informative and absolutely worth doing. If we could rate it higher than 10 we would. If ever we are back in Tuscany we would return in a heartbeat.

It is absolute heavenly place for holidays. Peace, quite, beautiful views, super comfortable apartments, lovely staff. It is perfect if you like to be away from busy, touristic places (it takes about 30 mins to get to Siena, through twisty roads), in the countryside, surrounded by nature (and lots of vineyards). Apartment is spacious, clean, well organized. Beds are super comfortable. Lovely touch with a "breakfast set" at the arrival and bottle of local wine. You can do wine tasting as this agriturismo as they produce their own wines and offer apartments rental and camper space.

The tour or Castello di Brolio and dinner at Il Celliere a...

The tour or Castello di Brolio and dinner at Il Celliere a Castagnoli were highlights of our stay in Gaiole in Chianti. Although we did not do a bike ride, it seems that road cycling in the area would be terrific.

I loved the variety of food offered at breakfast including made to order coffee. I felt the customer service was lacking in all regards. We were only shown to our room, not shown the pool or other property. I assumed the "sister" property was connected this property and it was not. Our A/C did not work and they made no attempt to fix it. They simply provided us with a fan to blow the hot air around. Our little fridge was not cold so our food spoiled. There were no set hours as to when you could get a drink during the day. One moment by the pool the bar was closed; the next minute it was open.

The location was fantastic!

The location was fantastic! You are completely surrounded by beauty. The only problem I personally had was the heat... and I was unable to produce cross current ventilation in the downstairs area where my daughter slept on the sofa bed because of the lack of screens on the doors ....and you needed them because of mosquitoes and bees! Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

This B&B is a TRUE GEM!!! Fantastic location, Wonderful rooms and the host Alba is AMAZING . Wonderfully welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and truly made our stay a fantastic experience! We will DEFINITELY be back !!!

We loved it .

We loved it . We loved the staff , the wine and the breakfast was magnificent. The gardens were a dream and the kids enjoyed the pool . The restaurant on-site was expensive and the kids would have loved some more basic options . The room was clean and linen good however o feel that the accommodation could be upgraded some what . The staff went out of there way to help and the most friendly hotel staff we have come across in Italy .

Borgo Casa al Vento is a lovely hotel - We stayed in one of the suites (The Hayloft) over the L'Eroica historic bike weekend. The room was great, spacious and very private with its own seperate entrance. We also really enjoyed the Hotel Osetria. The food was excellent and the estates own superb wines being served - all at very reasonable prices for the quality meant we were not tempted to eat elsewhwere for dinner over our 3 night stay. This property was situated in a great location near to Greve and Radda, Siena etc. It was super easy to get around during the day and night as we hired a car and we came here twice throughout our 3 week honeymoon in Italy. The staff were great, especially Nazli at reception is super helpful and solution focused when we had questions or needed something.

A wonderful place to stay in Gaiole...the accommodation is tastefully furnished with modern items. The bed was very comfortable. The owner/host Monica prepared a full and nourishing breakfast for me. Secure bicycle storage was provided free of charge at a location 300m from the hotel.
