I liked absolutely everything - from first contact with the staff to the last everyone was absolutely nice and welcoming. Complimentary coffee, water bottles and biscuits are a very nice touch to make everyone feel welcome and practically at home. The breakfast was amazing - not in the structure but in a bar very close and for everyone used to eating in Italy you know it doesn’t get any better than that. Every little detail in the property was carefully curated and nothing seemed out of place. The room was very big - don’t expect an entire apartment but for a room it was very spacious, well furnished and maintained and it includes a very spacious bathroom with all the usual amenities in Italy (shower, toilet, bidet) To top it off - even the hair shampoo/shower gel was really nice - just to illustrate the lengths at which they went to ensure a perfect stay for everyone. We will definitely see each other again :)

We looked for a one night stay somewhere between Udine and Venice close to the hoghway. This hotel wás 10 minutes from highway . They had nice room, comfy bed, large parking lot and very nice breakfast.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, 5 minutes from the center. Parking is possible on the street in the extension and is free of charge. There is an elevator, and the room and bathroom are spacious, only the insulation is worse. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a bistro on the ground floor. It is certainly recommended!

I used the accommodation repeatedly. This time I used online check-in due to our late arrival - direct communication via whatsapp without any problems. Invoice left on room table, access cards in security box - they send the room number and password to the safety box. This service is absolutely perfect. The heartfelt thank you they left in the room with the invoice was personal and sincere and I thank him very much!!! I will use again next time. Thank you Portus staff!!

Breakfast is amazing. It was so delicious. The owner was very sweet and kind. They are really relating to us. The room was very clean. The hotel looks like an art gallery. If you travel to Venice by car, you can stay at this hotel. It is almost far away 50mins from Venice. It should be better. It was really good experience for us.

Fossalta di Portogruaro is a small town with relatively limited services and things to do, though the local caffe bar is great. But the town is close to many great places, this is how we picked the location. Portugruaro is a lovely Italian town and it is within a 10-minute drive, and there are also other places with inexpensive restaurants. Caorle, Bibione, Brussa (a natural beach), or other sandy beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Going to Venice by train from Portogruaro is also an option.
